Hana was glad she stayed that night.

That was the night she felt closer to Sunwoo than ever. They talked all night about something less sad than the prospect of him leaving, which ended in them doing not much talking at all.

She smiled at the thought, although she knew her lips would tug downwards again soon.

She wore the same expression for the last couple of weeks.

Taeyang tried to crack some jokes and her mother even tried to cook all of her favourite foods - but nothing really brought a smile to her face.

It seemed as though from now on, she would have to get used to missing Kim Sunwoo.

"Do you miss me?" The boy asked, staring at the girl through the screen. She nodded, sighing. "I want to see you soon."

"Me too," Hana nodded. "How soon, though?"

Sunwoo hummed, his eyes focussing on the ceiling of his new room as he thought. "How about next week?"

"Not soon enough," the girl groaned, but nonetheless she nodded. "I can't complain if I'm gonna see you, can I?"

"Just think," the boy pondered. "Only a few months ago, you wouldn't have willingly asked to see me or miss me for that matter. Is that any consolation?"

"No," Hana shook her head. "I think I always wanted to see you, anyway."
