"Have you finished it yet?"
Sunwoo tried his best to ignore the figure that stood over him, her palms resting on the table he was sitting at.
Was she always this patronising? "I already told you."
"And it evidently wasn't clear," Hana retorted, looking around the empty library. "So?"
"So, what?" Sunwoo snapped, looking up at the girl finally as he felt the burning need to look away. "If it was finished, I'd have given it to you."
"Well, how long will it take?" The girl sat down before him.
With a sigh, the boy rolled his eyes. "Not very long, but longer if you sit here watching me."
"How else will I know if you actually get it done?" She retaliated, the anger boiling inside the boy.
"Leave me the fuck alo-"
"Hana!" A female voice gushed, making the two glance over at the source of it. It was a library, this person clearly didn't come here often. "Are you coming?"
Hana smiled at the girl, forcing it albeit. "Two seconds, Haewon."
"See," Sunwoo motioned to the girl. "You're actually wanted elsewhere. Now, go away."
"Well," the girl scoffed, standing up as she gathered her books. "You'll send it to me tonight, right?"
She watched as the boy pressed his tongue to the inside of his cheek. She knew fine well when she was pushing Kim Sunwoo's buttons, but she couldn't help it.
She needed this work complete to give to Mr Kang in the next few days, and she knew very well that Sunwoo wouldn't organise it as well as she would.
"Is that all you do with your time?" The boy finally spoke, shaking his head.
"And what does that mean?" Hana eyed the boy as he chuckled sarcastically.
"Study, work, study," he repeated. "All of your little minions yet you still don't have a social life. You sit upon that balcony and read your books."
The girl looked between the boys eyes. As much as they bickered, sometimes they snooped low. Just like now. "A-and?"
"Get a life," Sunwoo simply put with a shrug, gathering his things. "I'll send this to you when I feel like it."
Hana watched in disbelief as the boy walked to the other corner of the library. His nonchalant stroll was enough to enrage her.
Everything about him was enough to make her stomach churn, and little did she know, or believe, it would only get worse.
