It wasn't Hana's first party, but it may as well have been.

She arrived as awkwardly as she intended to be for the rest of the evening, but a sea of people saying hello and others looking at her strangely considering she was never at these parties - she knew she had to do better.

"Won't your parents kill you for wrecking their house before you leave?" She asked Sunwoo in the kitchen.

"They won't know," the red haired boy shrugged, pouring a drink before handing it to her. "Here, loosen up a bit, stiffy."

It was hard when she could hear her ex's laugh from upstairs.

Rolling her eyes, the girl sipped the drink and made her way to the busy living room.

The night passed quickly as she talked to a bunch of people from her classes, people she once called friends acting ecstatic to see her when she knew that wasn't the truth.

But for now, she'd play along and smile. This maybe wasn't better than a Saturday night spent in bed, but it was certainly a change.

Little did she know, Sunwoo watched her like a hawk. "What's up, man?"

Haknyeon's voice in his ear gave him a fright as he looked away quickly. "Nothin'. You having fun?"

Nonetheless, he didn't hear a word his friend said in reply as he watched Hana walk upstairs, right into the danger zone. The night would surely turn sour.

Jogging upstairs, he found the girl still standing there, confused. "You don't remember where the bathroom is?"

"I've been to your house once," Hana retaliated, the boy running over and opening the bathroom door slightly. "Why would I remember that?"

"I don't know," Sunwoo shrugged. "Well, have a good pee."

The boy mentally face palmed as she closed the door on his face, the amusement on her face unnoticed.

Because soon, there would be no amusement.

"Really, man?" Sunwoo groaned. "She's right downstairs."

"You told me you wouldn't invite her," Changmin looked slightly angry, his arm hanging loosely over Taeyang's shoulder. "Why is she here?"

"Just... showed up," the red haired boy shrugged. "I guess."

"She never just 'shows up'," his friend argued, standing up before chuckling, leaning in to quieten his voice. "What are you playing at, man?"

The two stood face-to-face, their stares intimidating even Taeyang. "I'll go get a drink, leave you guys to chat."

Before she could leave the room, Changmin grabbed her wrist. "No need, babe."

His grip was harsh, the girl scrunched her face up ever so slightly and Sunwoo took notice. "Hey, man-"

"I knew it."
