"Did you find out why they didn't include you?"
Meeting with Taeyang upon the kerb outside the convenience store was practically a daily occurrence now.
Not that Hana minded. She had began to feel like she was the only genuine friend she had. "I didn't. I can't face them."
The girl beside her nodded, smiling sadly.
"I know people at school must be looking at me funny now," Hana sighed. "Not that I care. I guess everyone's always kept this weird eye on me. I don't know how to stop it or fix it. People will always have opinions, and that shit scares me."
"What you don't know can't hurt you, that's what they say, right?" Taeyang chuckled.
The girls advice always seemed to stick with Hana. She always knew the right thing to say, and Hana was grateful for that.
"When is your trip?" Taeyang asked, looking over at the girl.
"Next week," she nodded slowly. "I don't know if it's the best thing to do."
"Why?" She chuckled. "It's a great experience. Think about it, you'll never get to do this kind of thing again, or at least not until you get a full time job and slave to a company for years before you can even think about travelling another continent."
"I guess so," Hana shrugged. "I don't know, his friend will be there and I'm already angry enough at him. I'm sure he'll make this trip hell for me."
Taeyang sighed. "I wish I was coming with you. I'd rip him to shreds."
Hana smiled warmly at the girl, knowing very well that Sunwoo would crumble with her words.
She also enjoyed the feeling of someone wanting to genuinely defend her, for once.
"Hey, Hana!" The voice of Hyori gushed as she skipped over to the two girls. "Who's this?"
"Ah, hi Hyori," Hana smiled awkwardly, motioning to her right. "This is Taeyang. Taeyang, Hyori. Hyori, Taeyang."
The girls smile faded a little. "Well, are we still sharing a room on our trip?"
"We sure are," she nodded slowly, waving softly as the girl walked away proud. She glanced over to Taeyang who stifled a laugh. "Don't laugh!"
"You're so popular you have the girls lining up for you," she chuckled, shaking her head. "It must be tiring."
"It is," Hana nodded. "It really is."
