Maybe Hana shouldn't have went.

Maybe she wouldn't be laying in bed regretting their little outing.

Maybe she would have gotten more sleep.

Maybe her mother wouldn't have been so angry with her. "How irresponsible can you be?"

Hana groaned, turning over as she placed a pillow over her head. "I know. But could you please cut me some slack?"

That of course never happened. Somehow, her mother being angry with her made things a little easier.

She could focus on something else other than Kim Sunwoo. That wouldn't last for long, though.

She found herself staring at her phone screen again. Summer would end in a few weeks and the most exciting thing she had done was kiss the boy and go to a party.

Those memories became the most precious ones as the last couple of weeks approached. "Why do I have to wear this?"

Hana looked at the dress in the mirror. It had been a while since she wore it, a couple of months to be exact.

Her mind flashed with the memory of the impossible stains caused by the flowers he had stupidly pressed in between their bodies. It was a miracle her mother managed to get them out.

"Because it's your uncles birthday," her mother shouted back. "And the colour suits you."

Hana groaned but got ready nonetheless, heading downstairs as she stared unimpressed at her mother.

"Beautiful," she smiled, putting in her earrings. "Start the car for me, will you?"

The girl took the keys, sighing as she tugged at her dress, opening the door lazily.

A frown was worn upon her face, one that would sink a thousand ships. A face that many would describe as 'one only a mother could love'.

It was true, but not only her mother would feel amusement at the sight.

Before she could even step foot on the concrete, the door closed harshly behind her, causing her to jump slightly.

A soft gasp escaped her lips, followed by an even louder one. "What the-?"
