EDEN

I quickly whip out my phone and start reading the text messages and I’m mortified, absolutely mortified. I knew that I had sent him a few messages before I went to bed last night, but I had no clue they were THAT bad. I exit out of the messages quickly and give him a quick look. He’s talking to his brothers, but he just winks at me and goes back to the conversation.

Toni rests her hand on my arm, “Are you okay, Eden? You’re like as red as a lobster.”

I nod my head, “Fine, totally fine. I need a drink.” I spin around quickly head into the garage where Lydia and Rich keep their alcohol and grab a bottle of white wine. When I turn around to go back inside, Toni is standing right there.

“What’s going on? Are you okay?”

“I’m okay, just needed to open a bottle,” I lift up the bottle of wine I grabbed, “time to get the day started.”

Toni reaches for the bottle, “I doubt you need any alcohol right now. Something has you spooked.”

“Not spooked as much as embarrassed.”

“Uh-huh, tell Mama Toni what happened.”

I laugh at her and then lean up against the minifridge. She follows my lead. I take out my phone and open the text messages once again reading her the first one on the screen, “I’m heading to sleep now, I wish you were here so I could ride you into the night.”

“Whoa, what the hell is that from?”

“This is from the string of text messages I sent Fletcher last night.”

She throws her head back in laughter. “The string of them? Keep reading, baby!”

“That was the tame one. ‘I took off my bra to sleep, my boobs are free for the taking. Maybe one day you could fuck me in my breasts until you shoot cum into my mouth.’”

“Wow, Eden, I didn’t know this about you.”

I shake my head, “Oh my god, I’m not normally like this, Toni.”

“Did he say anything back?”

“He was at work when I sent these. He did ask me if I was drunk and I told him I was drunk on his love.”

She barks out another laugh, “Oh god, you’re hilarious. You should make these into a book.”

“I should not!” I shove my shoulder into my friend, “This is embarrassing.”

“Oh, come on. So you sent your boyfriend sexy, kind of hilarious, text messages. There were no pictures of anything, right?”

“No, no pictures.”

“Well, then you’re a better woman than I am.”

“You sent out naked pictures last night?”

“No, no, not last night. In the past though. Thankfully he wasn’t a complete douchebag, so he didn’t do something horrible like sending them out when we broke up.’

“I’m beyond embarrassed, Toni. How am I supposed to go back in there and look at him?”

“With sexy pouty lips that remind him that you want to…” She grabs the phone from me before I can lock it, ‘One night I’m bending over and I want your huge cock in my tight…’  holy shit Eden!”

“Fuck you, Toni. You’re the worst friend ever.”

“That’s a lie. You love me, but you can have your phone back now,” I grab my phone before she changes her mind and make sure to lock it this time.
