Hello there, fellow ARMY!
Or should I say, 'Annyeonghaseyo'?
Before anything, allow me to say thank you for being interested enough to want to read something that I have taken the time to flesh out and put into words. The idea for this story came to me roughly three months ago during the height of Typhoon Odette when a large portion of the island that I live in was completely devoid of basic necessities, including electricity. There was nothing to dull my senses and distract me from my hyperactive brain. Cue the mental images of writing chapters on a yellow pad and then transferring them to my laptop after I got it charged back up.
Once the idea came to me, I immediately set out on giving Bella the story that I felt every woman deserves. While it is a work of fiction, I have taken the liberty of borrowing some elements from reality. Take for example the date of birth of the lead male character: while the day itself is the same as the idol that I patterned him from, I set his birth year about two years earlier.
Also, while I do speak the same trio of languages that almost every Cebuano does, that is the holy trinity of Bisaya, Tagalog and English, I am still taking baby steps to learn the other languages depicted here. Just in case there are grammatical errors, I implore your indulgence. We all know that web-based translation can be tricky at best.
As you progress through the chapters, please pay special attention to the dates at the beginning of each chapter. I have placed some markers for Time skips.
Lastly, yes, I am ARMY. I've been through the whole spectrum of being unable to decide her bias. I finally settled firmly into becoming an OT7. Choosing the lead male character as the main hero was decided because he was the one that ran through my mind at the time this idea popped into my head. As mentioned above, I am OT7. I love them all equally. I adore them all equally. There would be no Bangtan without any one of the seven.
