Jan's POV~
That night we all decided to fly around and get some air. Lily and I weren't speaking, and I hated how Harry was sticking with her.
"Look at that shooting star!" speaking of Harry...he pointed.
"What shooting star?" Louis asked.
"Yeah, I don't see a thing" Niall snickered.
"No, duh" I crossed my arms.
"But it's right there!" he insisted, the POOF, it darted into view.
"Well, now I see it" Zayn shrugged.
P.S. It's hard to fly and shrug at once.
"Here comes another one" Harry observed.
We all waited, waited, then finally one showed up.
"Harry, can you see further than usual?" Lily asked.
He nodded. "Yeah. I can see dead into space, actually"
"Cool new skill, Harry" Zayn smiled. "Can you see into the future?"
"I wish" he laughed.
"Jannice, come 'ere" Liam waved me over. "Try flips"
"i angled my wings and darted toward him, but
SHOOM!!
Suddenly, I zoomed way past him.
What the flippety flapjack?!
"Whoah!" Louis, Harry, and Zayn yelled.
My eyes were huge. "My skill!"
I laughed shooting back.
Liam looked plesently surprised.
"Told you" Lily mumbled.
"What happened?" Niall asked.
"I can fly, like, REALLY fast!" I exclaimed.
"Nice!" he smiled.
"C'mon in, Guys!" Beth yelled up to us. "You need to get a good nightsleep! Tomorror we're packing and getting on the plane and boat"
"Coming" Zayn sighed.
And we all flew down. Well, I turboed down, but landed face first in the dirt.
Lily's POV~
I felt pretty bad about starting the argument, but it wasn't something I could stop from happening. It was all in a vision. I couldn't control that!
After everyone else was asleep, I decided to take a bath to release my stress. Not just a bath. A hot bubble bath.
But once I was in, Harry walked in...
"Oh, sorry" his face flushed.
"No,it's fine" I shrugged.
"I forgot to brush my teeth" he reached for his toothbrush.
The bubbles were so high, only my knees and head was visible.
"That's OK" I smiled.
"Why are you stll up?" he walked over to me and sat down on the floor while brushing his teeth.
"Stress release" I replied, then paused. "And I fell in the water outside.
He chuckled. "hen knees in, too" he swatted my legs and I pulled them under the bubbles, then put my mouth in the water and burbled. He tousled my hair, then stood up and rinsed, then (to my surprise) he knelt back down and looked me in the eyes.
"I love you...Lily" his eyes sparkled and his hand flew to my hair.
His elbow splashed in the water as he looked lovingly into my eyes.
"I...love you, too" I smiled.
He leaned forward and his lips crashed on mine.
And no, I didn't get a vision of this...
I tilted my head so I could kiss him better and he pressed down harder on me.
"Mm" I moaned into it, and smiled.
"Lily" he slipped his ongue in my mouth and we stared exploring each other mouths.
My hands flew to his hair and I tried kissing him even harder, but accidentally pulled him in the tub.
"Sorry" I laughed, and he laughed, too.
"That's OK" his arms slipped around me and brough me into a wet, soapy hug.
Jan's POV~
I woke up around 2am, seriously stressing over the fact that Liam would die soon, saving the world, and Lily's and my argument. I went over to my window and jumped out-snapping my eyes open. I reached out my arms to the side and inhaled happily. Nothing like a night flight!
I saw a parking lot and decided to stretch my legs. Gracefully, I landed.
"Hey, Jan" came Liam's voice.
I looked around, but he wasn't there.
"Right here"
"Where?"
"HERE" he suddenly appeared.
"GAH!" I jumped back. "What the flippety flapjack?!"
"Invisibility" he faded. "My new skill"
"Creeepyyy" I snickered, but I felt arms go around me and he reappeared-staring deep in my eyes.
He was behind me (moved while invisible), his hands on my hips.
"Why are you up?" he asked with his lips on my ear.
"Stress" I shrugged. "What Lily said...you dying" I turned to face him.
"It's going to be OK" he put his hands on my shoulders. "Better me than you-you have to save the world" he grinned. "And Mars"
"I can't do it alone"i felt my eyes getting watery. "I need you"
He cupped my cheek and looked me square n the eye. "Jannice"
CLuNK!
He cornered me against the wall of a building-arms blocking any escape. "You're...such an angel"
"Bird kid mutant freak scientific success" I corrected. "0% angel"
His eyes sparkled and he pressed me hard against the wall with his hips, while holding my hands against the brick. Then, he leaned in and his lips found mine.
All these fireworks started going off in my head, and everybit of stress just flew away. (Get it? FLY?)
I felt like Remmy on Ratatouille, or something, trying foods mixed together. Happier than that-way more fireworks than that. And it was all so unexpected.
But Lily was worried about us getting too attatched...maybe if I broke away Liam wouldn't die...
I pulled away. "I'm sorry" then I ducked under his arms and took of flying, but then my eyes grew.
The chip. Maybe if the chip was the voice, if it was leading the Extenguishers to us-it wouldn't lead them to Liam, to kill him!
I circled back around and flew down by Liam. "I need you to fly to Colorado with me"
