Forever or Never

S.O.S!

Jan's POV~

This is what I thought would happen- I'd wake up in the clearing, wering only Liam's wings around me. He greets me, we'd kiss forever, then he'd give me my clothes before Louis and Niall woke up.

What HAPPENED was, I woke up cold, fully dressed, chained to a stone wall by one of my ankles. Liam was chained beside me, and after him were Niall, then Louis. On the other side...Michael. Our chains allowed us to walk around a little, but if Michael jumped me, I couldn't escape.

"No way" I said crawling away from him.

"It's OK, Jannice" he didn't move.

He just sat-hugging his knees and unmorphed.

I looked at Liam for support, but he had his hands bound and mouth sealed with duct tape. Louis and Niall looked the same way. A bomb or something was right in front of them to prevent me or Michael to untie them. Motion activated, probably.

"You're dead!" I turned back to Michael. "I killed you"

"Yeah" his piercing dark eyes met mine. "But John brought me back" he paused. "You're my sister..."

"I know" I sighed.

"I'm not going to hurt you" he said quietly.

"How do I know?"

He turned his head, and I saw a bar code on the back of his neck.

"I'm retiring. Dying. I'lll be gone any minute"

I said nothing.

"Jannice, I need to tell you something" his eyes looked serious. "I was never going to kill you....you didn't know it, but you were traing me. Training me to stop the 99 plan with you. But I guess it's no use in the long run. I had a flaw, and I'm retiring earlier than I was programmed. And also...John... isn't on the side of the MSA...He's a spy-an agent on our side."

I had no idea what to say, but by he look on Liam's face, he didn't believe him.

Michael reached out an arm. "Jannice..my sister...come here"

Liam gave me a warning look, but I scooched over to the other mutant, and he held my hand.

"You an Gwen are my only siblings, but you're the only one I trust" he said. "When I die, prevent the...the" his eyes started closing. 'Save the world, Jan" his face went pale and his head fell to my lap.

My eyes grew. This was all too much!

CLICK!

The door opened and a white coat walked in. He clicked something on a remote, and the bomb shut off. What was happening? He attatched shock colars to us, then released us and made us march to an experiment room. He pulled the tape off the guys' mouths and untied them, then he pointed to Liam.

"Get on the table"

Liam pecked my lips, then climbed onto the table. Trut me, those shock collars could kill someone.

The Whitecoat picked up a knife and looked at Liam.

Flashbacks of Niall becoming blind helped zero.

"I'm going to enhance your strength" the Whitecoat said.

"What?! NO!" Liam pulled away, and sure enough, the shock buzzed.

Liam looked dazed, but he was alive.

"No..." he repeated, holding his neck.

I guess he got frustrated, because the Whitecoat threw the knife and it was unintentional , but it was suddenly sticking out of Liam.

The Whitecoats eyes grew, and Louis suddenly ripped off his collar. Niall copies, and so did I.

Louis and Niall ran to the scientist, and I to Liam. His face was pale, and his body soaked in red.

"Liam!" I screamed, grabbing his head. "LIAM!!"

Cliffhanger =3 I love killing you guys like this =DDDD As you know in all my books (Or I try to make it all) someone always dies in the book, and there's some kind of murder/suicide/car accident crap that makes most or all the characters eventually die. Now, I'm not saying there's any deaths that are permanent in this book, but there will be in the sequel. Actually for the sequel I wrote an epilog on how the flock came back, but I scrapped it to make it more dramatic. I've written the sequel in a notebook, but haven't started typing it up yet.
