Jan's POV~

"What's happening?" Niall asked, looking 100% tramatized.

"Shh" Louis hissed. "We're surrounded."

"No, duh" I clutched Liam like a baby.

Where was the courage I once had? Where was my determination?

Help is coming said the Voice.

Finally I thought. Where have you been? I haven't heard from you in Germany. Do you not do long distance calls?

It was silent.

"Elphay is omingcay" I whispered into Liam's ear.

"Positive?" he looked paranoid.

We all knew we were about to be retired...

I frowned and peered around his head. The barcode-it was gone

"We're going to be OK" I breathed.

BANG!

The door flew open and all the Extenguishers turned. And there stood Lily-Harry and Zayn behind her.

"Up and away-Niall 12:00 7ft then go 2:00 out the door.

We were all in the air and flew out fight over them.

"Fancy seeing you!" I called over to Lily, annoyed.

"I got a word" she said back. "Liam was dead. But he's alive...and who was the enemy on our side that died?"

"Liam died, and I revived him. ND Michael RETIRED RIGHT AFTER SAYIING HE'S ON OUR SIDE....AND jOHN"

"He's right she replied as Harry held her. He flew ahead.

I took Liam's hand and started flying super fast-dragging him behind me.

"Wow!" he shouted with glee over the wing. "This must be amazing!"

You're almost free.

I stopped and let him go while we waited for the others.

"We're almost free" I beamed.

In two days the world will end, and in two days, YOU will end. Like Lily said, you'll be happy. You'll be wrapped up.

"In two days" I grabbed my head. "the world will end. In two days I will end. The Voice just said that..."

"Is I permanent death?" he asked quietly.

Yes.

I turned away and nodded.

"Jannice!" Lily shouted as Harry flew up holding her.

"Sprain your wings?" I scoffed.

"I need to tell you something" she bore a hole in my forehead.

Her pale eyes...

"Lily?" I asked.

"Land" she said.

I flew down, all the others following.

Lily ran towards me and hugged me tightly.

"Lily..."

"I'm blind" she said while clutching me.

I could hear tears and hurt in her voice.

"We got captured" she added.

I hugged her back, a tear threatening to fall. Then I noticed...

"Your wings!" I cried. "Youre beautiful snowy wings! They're gone!"

"Clipped" she wiped her eyes and pulled away. "I'm sorry we split..."

"It's...OK" I said surprised. "But you're right...you should be the leader" I slipped my hand in hers and started walking away from the others.

"Jannice, I know" she said. "Your Voice. 2 days..."

"And you" I put my hands on her shoulders. "Are going to be leader when I die"

She gulped. "Jan..."

"Can you bury me by that cliff house in Colorado?" I asked.

"Jan...your body...it'll be...lost at sea...."

"Oh...nevermind" I swallowed. "Nevermind, it's OK"

"And i'll never be able to be as good a leader as you"

"You'll be way better" I rolled my eyes. "You won't get the flock captured."

"Whatever. I'm sorry for everything"

"It's not your fault" I looked into her pale eyes and took her hands. "Lily, I love you. I couldn't have escaped by myself...we stick togheter"

She nodded and smiled. "I love you, too, and ditto all that"
