A/N: Hey guys! Haven't seen you guys in, like, nine months- AHaha... Sorry ;-; But I'm back with my horrible uploading skills! More on my A/N at the end of the chapter c: Oh god, and don't kill me for the crappy fight scene please, I really tried ;-;
I hummed tiredly and cracked open my eyes, scanning the right side of the room lazily. My stomach rumbled and I groaned softly. Food… I pushed myself up quickly and almost immediately regretted it, cringing at the wave of nausea. Way too fast! Blinking my heavy eyelids shut, I ruffled the right side of my hair with my hand, the red curls spreading between my fingers softly as I pulled out some of the knots. I yawned and pressed my feet to the floor, sucking in a breath as I shivered at the seemingly freezing temperature of the wood. I seriously need to find a way to warm this place up in the mornings!
I huffed a mushroom breath and stood up completely, dragging my feet to the kitchen to make some waffles. I dropped the blueberry waffles into the toaster and walked to the bathroom, cringing yet again at the icy sting of tile against my feet. I walked out a couple minutes later and went back to the kitchen, plucking the waffles from the toaster head and tossing them onto a plate. I drowned them in syrup— honestly it’s way too much, but I forgot I was pourin it and almost fell asleep… I snorted at my stupidity and used a fork to fold them in half before shoving them entirely into my mouth. I smiled at the taste, licking the sugar off my lips after I finished. I headed back to the bathroom to wash up and do my normal routine, deciding to leave my hair down for the day.
I stepped out of the shower and smacked my cheeks, immediately grinning. “This is going to be a good day!” I promised, already planning what I would do until a knock interrupted my train of epic planning. I opened the door, curiously peeking through the crack before I was tackled to the floor. I squeaked out a scream and pushed the person off me. “What the hell?” I blinked and sweat dropped. “It’s you… Again…” I cringed again, scrunching up my nose.
She smiled and patted my head. “Of course it’s me! I promised to visit, did I not?” I nodded slowly, regretting opening the door. “Now, for today’s lesson—”
“No no!” I cringed as I quickly cut her off, holding my hands in front of me. “Today I have to go get tested or whatever!” I watched her face drop as she sighed.
“I guess I can’t teach you anything now,” She huffed a bit, “Stupid elites…” I sweat dropped, but I had to agree. It’s too early to fight, but I’d much rather fight than learn how to be a seductress. I cringed and glared harder at her, pointing my finger to the door. Not doing that again!
“Out.” I folded my arms with finality.
“Fine, fine,” She held her hands up in a surrender motion. “We’ll do it once you’re back.” Her face lifted into yet another devilish grin. I scrunched up my nose, glaring at the wall to my left. She’s almost as stubborn as Ken!
“Yeah, alright, leave. I need to get ready.” The woman simply nodded and left the room, leaving me to my brief peace before I continued attempting to pull on my pants. Once I was fully covered, I was ready to leave. I grabbed a scrunchie last second and headed out.
I wasn't sure if Gin would mess with me again today or not, so I decided it was for the best if I followed reiatsu completely. I made sure I was careful as I turned halls and stepped on tiles, slightly paranoid that something would go wrong and I'd be running for my life, even if I were tracing Aizen’s reiatsu. I kept a steady pace, despite my anxiety of the many possibly traps lurking around the hallways. I'm definitely not up for another attempt at besting the Matrix. A good half hour passed before I managed to find the massive wooden doors— seemingly the only colored thing in the entire building, as it was a deep, maple wood brown. I pushed the doors open, glad that they swung open as easy as a normal sized door.
