Nothing But Trash

  I charged at him and pounced, but he basically disappeared. I snapped my tail up, ready to defend myself, but an attack never came. I looked around the field and saw him, standing on the opposite side.

         I hadn't seen him move; he's fast.

  "So slow" was his simple response that made my blood boil. I glared at him as he stood there; I don't care how pretty his eyes are, he's an ass. I amped up my speed, charging at him again, swinging my tail out as multiple more fanned out behind me. When I was just about to reach him, I sent out my tails to surround him before he could leave, but he still managed to evade the attack.

  "Still too slow. Is this really all you can do?"

  I growled and flattened my ears against my head as I curled my lips back, flashing my teeth. I barked and charged at him again, but it was only a distraction. I manipulated the sand behind him to begin to rise. I was careful so he didn't see it.

  When I was a couple feet in front of him, I had the sand rise high and fast, crashing down and enveloping him in the tsunami of sand. I wasn't sure if I got him yet, I didn't feel any movement in the sand. No, I thought, there's no way he was fast enough to dodge that attack.

       It's safe to say I was surprised by what happened next.

  "Clever move, but you're too cocky." He said, staring at me emotionlessly. "You're the strongest yet you cant even scratch me." He mocked and then turned to the crowd. "Pathetic, all of you."

  I took a deep breath and calmed down. He's right, I'm too cocky. I snapped my eyes open and resorted to highest speed, he's beginning to piss me off. I ran around him, attempting to find his blind side, but he stayed calm the whole time. I growled and barked, jumping out.

    And so, our high speed battle began as we exchanged blows, blocking and parrying each attack. Well, he blocked all of mine, he managed to land a couple blows on me though. It's hard to fight a human-like hollow in hand to hand combat! Soon enough I was tired, I pressed my hind legs against his arm--which was prepared to block a kick I assume--and used him to push myself away. I did a midair flip before I slid onto the sand, baring my teeth at him.

   I ran it him and swung my tail in front of me, poison glistening on the metal like substance. He dodged each jab without looking, just staring me right in the eyes. It was annoying not to mention insulting. I barked and leapt at him, but he simply disappeared again. I took a deep breath and swung my tail to the side, allowing the rest of them to slide out. I stretched them out and had them reach over my body. I opened my mouth and began charging a cero, slowly. It's always fun to make them think it takes you a while(1). I didn't have to open my eyes to sense where he was, I just used my BWS--Brain Wave Scan/Sensing if you don't remember--to locate where he was. As soon as I had it charged, I separated the huge cero, giving each tail part of it.

      I must've looked so cool, even the guy looked shocked.

  I kept my eyes shut as I began to toss them, pulling my tails back to my mouth as it grabbed another part of the cero. I continued to shoot cero after cero at him, forcing him to run and jump in circles as he avoided being hit. I began to shoot two at a time, shooting one in front and another behind. It was fun being at the top of the game for a while.

   Soon enough he seemed to get sick of running around as he jumped towards me and fired his own cero. I couldn't jump away in time, so I just hardened my body and took the blow. It didn't do any damage, so I just grinned. I swung my tail to the side, eliminating all of the extra tails. I bent my front legs and bared my teeth, this time a bit more playfully. I wagged my tail back and forth as I stared at the hollow, the disks clicking loud as I challenged him to come at me.
