The school bustled around, looking down at their phones, whispering about the latest news. Emiko whined, pulling her bag closer to herself, a sense of worry from overhearing the news. An abnormal about of people being admitted to hospital with severe tiredness, some going into a coma when entering the emergency room. Some members of the press linking this back to Masakuni's talk due to unfortunate time lines meeting up. Emiko made it to her classroom, taking her seat beside the window near the back. Noticing Saki wasn't in the classroom yet, she sunk into her chair. I dread to think what she's up to right now.

Saki laughed to herself manically as she stalked out the end of the corridor, having learnt some tasty information. Class 2-A is the potential classroom of the boy from the Masakuni talk. During the queue for lunch on Monday, she heard some students from the class talk about a boy who is 'lucky to be working alongside Masakuni.'

Keeping that information handy, Saki figured the best time to catch this boy would be before school. That's why she was currently receiving concerning looks from other students as she continued her stake out. Saki ignored the looks, narrowing her eyes to closely examine each student that passed the door way before she saw him. She stepped from before the wall, pointing to Senku and proclaiming; "The cat owner!"

Senku stopped in his tracks, looking to Saki, raising a brow. He sighed, walking over to a smug looking Saki and groaned as he flicked her forehead. Saki cried out, wincing slightly before recovering quickly and grabbing Senku by the collar. "Dude, the hell you do that for?"

Senku grabbed hold of Saki's wrist, forcing her to let go of him, all the time his calm face annoying Saki. "May I help you?" He asked.

"You're the guy with the talking cat, right?" Saki asked, Senku letting out an exaggerated sigh as he nodded. "I knew it! You're the dude Emiko met."

Senku's eyes widened. Emiko? That was her name. To Senku the name had a certain charm to it when hearing it in his mind. "So, you were the friend she was with that day," He laughed. "You both attend this school I presume."

"First years."

"Explains why I haven't met you before," The bell rang, interrupting the conversation. "I have lunch by the statue at the courtyard."

With nothing else to say Senku turned with a wave to attend his homeroom. Saki gave a fist bump to the air; happy she was able to track down the boy of her friend's affection. She rushed to her homeroom, a skip in her step knowing that this would count as her good deed for the year, heck, maybe the decade! "Where have you been?" Emiko whispered as Saki took the seat beside her, the stupid grin still on her face. "Are you up to something again?"

Saki leant over, patting Emiko's shoulder. "Just remember to thank me when you're getting married"

Emiko's mouth twitched as she looked at into nothing, trying to work out Saki's words. She shook her head, turning to open her book, wanting to forget about words she's heard not only from Saki but about the incidents being blamed on Masakuni. Losing focus from the book, her attention turned to the window, the familiar feeling from when she met Nasa hitting her spine. She stared at the tree, watching the leaves move in the gentle wind. There was nothing there, no bird on a branch or a piece of fruit hanging high. Is this a sign? Is something about to happen?

The sun was at its highest point as lunch period came. Senku had brought his lunch quickly so he could get comfortable in his peaceful get away. He smiled, seeing perched in the shadow of the statue Nasa was lying waiting for him. He shook his head, still in disbelief about how Nasa still found him every lunch time. He took his seat behind his feline friend quickly, taking out his sandwich and ripping off the end with some meat to give Nasa. Nasa shook his body, letting out an exaggerated meow and positioning himself to eat comfortably. Senku scratched the nape of Nasa's neck before digging into his part of the sandwich.
