Heavy panting was heard through the barren halls of the research centre. Masakuni continued to run, desperately trying to escape to monster that lurked in the shadows. He found an office, slamming the door behind him frantically trying to close the locks for further protection. "Damn it!" He screamed, holding his head and falling to the floor. "What is that thing?"
"I am a friend," Masakuni screamed, looking up to see the shadow had found its way into the room and now towered over him. "I can give you what you crave."
"What I crave?" Masakuni repeated, his look a disbelief amusing the shadow. "What's so fun-" The shadow interrupted, lifting what Masakuni believed to be a hand and showing his something that resembled the Silver Crystal. Masakuni reached out his hand, closing his hand around air, his dream shattered realising the crystal was not before him. "You can get me the crystal?"
"We can make our own crystal," The shadow's voice bounced off the walls, sending shivers down Masakuni's spine. The hair on his arms, standing up and anticipation increasing his heart rate. "Share with me your energy," The shadow brought itself closer to Masakuni. "And I will give you the knowledge you so crave."

"Moon Tiara Illumination!" Emiko screamed out, ridding the high street of another monster. She collapsed to her knees, holding onto her chest, trying to calm her heart rate. "When are we going to find other guardians?"
Nasa laughed at Emiko's whining. "Perhaps we should make that more of a priority," He advised. "All this fighting for one person is quite the strain. An additional member will lighten the load."
"Well, tomorrow is the weekend," Emiko stated, getting up and transforming back to her civilian clothes. As she started to walk, Nasa took his new favourite spot on her shoulders, to make conversation easier. "Any ideas of who maybe a guardian? You hang around the school a lot. Surely someone other than myself ..."
Emiko stopped, hearing the sound of a trash can being thrashed about in a nearby ally. "Back off you damn punks," The aggressive tone was one all too familiar to her.
Rushing to hide, Emiko took cover behind the cover of the wall, taking a close look as two thuggish looking men came from the ally way and their aggressor following. "Saki?" Nasa questioned, Emiko shushing him. Saki wiped the corner of her mouth with her sleeve before walking off in the opposite direction. "What was she doing, I wonder?"
Emiko pushed herself from the wall, ignoring Nasa as he continued to questions Saki's actions. She bit her lip, disappointed that Saki would still be doing something so dangerous. Though, was she one to talk right now? You've always been this way, huh Saki?
Six years old and sitting in the corner of the playground, backed up in a corner by the three older boys from her school. Emiko continued to cry, trying to push herself further back, hoping the wall would swallow her whole. "Aww, look at the little cry baby," The first boy mocked as another pulled at one of the hair buns on Emiko's head. Emiko starting to wail more as the hair pulled from the skin. "Trying to copy some stupid fairy tale."
Unable to speak, Emiko grabbed at the assailant's wrist, trying to desperately to pry herself away. Their grip grew tighter the more she struggled, her body now being pulled from the safety of her corner, the boys laughing widely to themselves. "Moon ball smash!" A voice cried from behind the boys, getting their attention. The grip loosened as a yellow ball hit the leader dead on the nose, sending him stumbling backwards, giving Emiko chance to run pass the and to her hero. The blonde-haired saviour was Saki. She pointed to the boys, shouting to proclaim; "In the name of the moon, I'll punish you for picking on pretty girls."
