Act 10 - A New Power

"Well, this is certainly a development," Nasa tried to laugh off.

"My cat can talk," Senku said in disbelief. "Emiko is Sailor Moon and I'm currently watching the girls trying to fight a monster, that maybe an alien for all I know!"

Nasa shrugged and nodded in agreement. Senku had gotten the gist of things pretty quick, like he always did. "I shall explain later, for now you must-" He was interrupted by a monstrous roar that echoed through the air. Looking back to the guardians, the monster had managed to grab hold of Mayumi by the neck as Kumi was blocked by rubble from getting to her, Michiko weak from the blood loss as Saki was knocked to the floor, a sense of weakness overwhelming her. Then Senku noticed Emiko, sat on her knees, staring in horror, not knowing what to do. "She needs to snap out of it."

"She's always struggled to see herself in a positive way," Saki's words resonated in Senku's mind. She feels powerless right now, Senku gritted his teeth, looking to find a clear path to Emiko. This monster separated them for a reason, it wanted Emiko, so he had to get her safe. He looked down, finding a pole used to create one of the booths and ran to Emiko. "Emiko, get up!" He screamed, trying to avoid the growing holes.

The monster hummed, stamping her foot again a large piece of rubble flying in Senku's direction. "Jupiter Lightning Blast!" The rubble above him was broken into small pieces, showering around him. Senku looked to see Saki smirking at him, giving him a thumbs up. "You have more strength than I do. Get to her, so I don't have to kill you."

Senku gave a thumbs up back, running to finally reaching Emiko. He knelt down, getting her full attention. She looked dazed, as if she wasn't aware of what was going on. Senku sighed in relief, hugging her tightly. "You can do it!" He yelled, making her jump slightly. "I know you can. All the girls know you can!"

"Emiko!" Michiko called out.

"Big sis!"

"E-Emiko!"

"You can do it!"

Emiko closed her eyes, embracing Senku tightly. His embrace was warm, like the light that first engulfed her, helped her to transform. All her friends' voices resonated with her, draining out the cries of the monster. My friends are here, she thought to herself. I'm not fighting alone and they are depending on me.

The lights that first emanated from the girls, lit up once again, feeling a new sensation as they called out for Emiko. The light so strong, it burnt the monster's arm, causing it to drop Mayumi. "M-Mars Power!"

"Mercury Power!"

"Venus Power!

"Jupiter Power!"

Please let our power give you a new strength, The girls preyed as Emiko stood, keeping hold of Senku's hands in her own. She closed her eyes, her heart beating faster and the power pooled into her heart. Nasa watched excited, seeing an orb of light, appear between Emiko and Senku. "Moon Guardian Power!"

In front of her, a small hoop appeared, a crescent moon with wings either side sat on the top. Emiko blushed, reaching for it and takin hold of it firming with both hands. She raised it, positioning it to face the monster. "Moon Cosmic Twilight!" She cried out, light capturing the monster and with a scream it disappeared. Emiko looked at the item in her hands before hugging it tightly. A new power of my own, she blushed. From my friends and from Senku.

Senku stood up, their eyes locking to the others. It was a surreal moment, from watching the new transformations to witnessing a new power being born, Senku couldn't believe this was anything but a dream. Leaning in, Emiko wasn't sure at what she was about to do, knowing what she wanted but her body disagreed. Senku moved swiftly, moving to catch Emiko as she fainted in his arms. Her new power, dropped to the floor with an echoing clang, Saki rushed over, quickly positioning herself to hold Emiko over her shoulders. "Damn, that was awesome," She smirked. "But it's taken its toll on her."
