Rubbing her eyes, Emiko woke up distorted trying to remember how she got home. She was even in her bed, wearing a set of clean pyjamas. She grabbed her head, the last thing she remembered was an overwhelming warmth and then gaining a new power. She gasped; "I was able to fight head on," she told herself, smiling. "I might just be strong enough after all."
After awaking herself up, she gazed at her phone. It was the next day. Her mouth twitched, seeing notifications from her brother that he would be on the night shift for the next couple of nights but nothing from the girls. "Perhaps, they're all sleeping too."
A quick shower and a change of fresh clothes, Emiko had decided to get some fresh air. After twelve hours of sleep, she felt her body needed the freedom to stretch out. She looked up as she walked, noticing the dark clouds. Guess I should have brought an umbrella. With that thought, rain drops had started to slowly fall. Yeah, I really need an umbrella. In a panic, Emiko looked for nearby shelter, deciding on the empty bus stop close by. Her pace quickened as the rain picked up, obscuring her view. Once under the shelter, she shook her head grabbing at her hair, trying to drain it.
"For someone who saves the day," She gasped at the comment. That voice. Slowly, she turned her head and looked to see Senku smirking at her. "You're very unprepared." She whipped her head back around, trying to avoid his gaze. "I didn't expect the rain to be this heavy. I only came out for some groceries."
Emiko's eyes closed tightly, her hands holding onto her chest, hoping to muffle the sounds of her rapidly beating heart. She took sharp breaths in, before letting out a head thrashing sneeze. Shivers sent goosebumps along skin as the wet clothes clung to her tighter. "My place is nearby, "Senku spoke up, placing a hand on Emiko's shoulder. "Before you get sick, you need to dry off."
Emiko opened her eyes, slightly but the sight she saw made them open wider. She saw red in Senku's cheeks. The usual cool Senku had a blush on his face. Seeing that blush, Emiko didn't hesitate to answer. "That would be great, please."

Walking into Senku's apartment, Nasa walked over greeting them both with a friendly, "Welcome."
"Hey Nasa," Emiko greeted, leaning down and scratching the back of Nasa's neck.
"The bathroom is down the hall to the left," Senku pointed in the direction. "I'll grab you something to wear in the meantime."
The pounding of her heart was back as she nodded, heading the way Senku pointed out. "Nervous, are we?" Nasa laughed, noticing Emiko's flushed cheeks. "Fear not, I shall guard the door."
"Don't give her the wrong impression," Senku called back. Emiko giggle, entering the bathroom. She suddenly stopped, looking down at Nasa confused. Senku responded. Senku responded to Nasa's comment. "Did I forget to mention I can hear him now?" Senku laughed, pushing pass and placing fresh clothes on the counter.
Surrounded by the warm water, her muscles relaxing Emiko thought back to the pass couple of days. Mayumi becoming Sailor Mars, gaining her new power and now Senku being able to understand Nasa.
On the other side of the door, Senku sat on the floor, the door slightly a jar with Nasa keeping guard. "I was surprised you were on your own," He spoke up, fidgeting with the back of his neck.
"I figured the girls would have been sleeping still after yesterday's fight," Emiko answered honestly. "Which I bet you're still freaking out over?"
"It's sunk in a little bit now," Senku laughed. "Even the whole Nasa can talk thing, which we think is because I was in the presence of the chosen guardians."
