Senku moved a hand to cup Emiko's cheek, feeling relived that she was still breathing. Everyone around was amazed. All this time, everyone believed Emiko was the heir they were looking for, but to their disbelief, it was Senku all this time. Arata laughed, holding a free hand up towards Senku and Emiko. "How lucky for me," he said. "I get the crystal and can end the moon linage right here!"
A blast was aimed for Senku and Emiko, Saki trying to reach them to deflect the attack gasping as she noticed Masakuni standing with his arms out, his back absorbing the attack. Coughing, Masakuni fell to his knees. "Masakuni?" Senku gasped.
"Least I could do," Masakuni grinned, wincing at the pain.
Nasa ran to them, shouting for the girls to join them. "Sailor teleport out of here now!" The others joined hands, surrounding Emiko and Senku's bodies, successfully managing to escape.
Arata shrugged, looking at the crystal in his hand. "Matter not," He assured himself. "This is all I needed anyway. Without it our little Sailor Moon will die shortly."

The beeping of the heart monitor bounced off the empty walls, Senku sat on the chair beside Emiko's bed, tubes and wires connected to her. Senku's clothes had returned to normal and his crescent mark disappearing when they teleported from the building. He looked up, seeing Saki scolding him. He pushed his chair away, leaving the room, passing the others who didn't dared to speak up. Saki turned to Michiko, getting a nod before following Senku. The halls of this hospital she knew all too well and it seemed Senku knew it well also as he walked down the familiar halls. "Don't expect me to start calling you your highness," Saki snapped as she continued a fair distance behind Senku. "The only reason I've not beaten you up is because you're the person we've been searching for."
Senku ignored Saki, not really knowing how to respond. What do you say to the person who hates you more then you hate yourself? I deserve to be beaten up, he stopped by the entrance of the children's ward, looking down to the familiar corner and kneeling down. The image of a young Emiko crying in the corner came back to him.
"Why you crying?" A seven-year-old Senku asked, leaning into Emiko's face.
Emiko sniffed, wiping her eyes with the sleeve of her gown. "I have to have a scary operation tomorrow," She hiccupped.
"That's it?" Emiko nodded. Senku sighed, moving to sit beside Emiko as she continued to cry. Senku chewed at his cheek, not sure why he was choosing to sit here and listen to this girl cry. He leant against the wall, looking up at the ceiling. "You know, there's a story about a beautiful queen who wasn't scared of anything."
"N-neo-Queen Serenity," Emiko hiccupped.
"Yeah," Senku nodded looking at Emiko, smiling as she had finally stopped crying. "They say she had this beautiful crystal that gave her the power to face anything." Senku reached into his pocket with one hand, grabbing and opening Emiko's hand with his other. Emiko looked into her hand, noticing a shining crystal, reflecting the lights from the ceiling, almost making rainbow colours appear before her. She gasped in awe, why was she being given this? "I don't have a need for this so consider this your own special crystal."
Emiko brought it to her chest, holding it with a firm grip, closing her eyes and making a wish on this crystal. "I can really keep this?" She asked.
"Yeah," Senku laughed. "It's all yours now."
Senku felt the tears starting to fall again. "I hate you," Saki spoke up, gritting her teeth. "But if I understand the situation right, then you're the reason she's recovered."
