So tired, Emiko groaned, folding her arms and resting her head comfortable. Never one to sleep in class, Emiko took this opportunity in study hall to catch up on much needed rest. Having view of the brooch on her chest, she saw the evidence of what happened last night. She wasn't trapped in a coma after all, she truly transformed into Sailor Moon. Nasa really did talk and someone taught her how to use the attack. All the stories, they weren't just legends. So, the next question is, just who is Nasa? Why is Nasa here?

Thinking back, Nasa always come to school with Senku and today would be the same as any other day. That's Emiko's theory. Sighing, she had a plan. She needed to confront Nasa, especially as he left Emiko after she transformed back, leaving her with more questions than before. Though, the questions could wait for now as her eyes felt heavy and she allowed herself to close them.

Last night brought her no dreams but this sleep was different. She found herself stood in front of the castle she had seen pictured in many books. The beautiful white castle, decorated with shining crystals. Music carried in the wind, grabbing her attention. Emiko looked to the floor, amazed at the music box at her feet. Curious, she bent down, holding her hands out. She used the tips of her fingers to feel the cool mental along the rim of the cylindrical shaped music box. The Pegasus that dances around the sides, entranced Emiko and gave her a warm feeling. What is this before her? What could it mean?

"Miss Emiko," A slap against the table, shocked Emiko awake. Saki howling beside her, holding her stomach and pointing at a piece of history before her. Emiko gulped, looking at the teacher, giving an awkward smile to break the tension. "May I suggest you go to bed earlier if you insist on sleeping in study hall?"

Emiko nodded, bowing her head in shame. "Apologies ma'am."

After study hall, Saki walked alongside Emiko to the statue. She looked her friend up and down, noticing the bags under her eyes and the distress look. "I'm here if you want to talk, you know," She assured, holding onto Emiko's arm. Sighing, Emiko nodded. Why isn't she smiling? Saki questioned. Something is bugging her. "I get it," Saki grinned. "You want to ask Senku out, right?"

Emiko's eyes widened, her cheeks flushed a deep shade of red. "It's been one day!"

"Two, if you count the first incident at the talk."

"Remind me why I'm friends with you?" Emiko asked.

Patting Emiko's back, Saki had pushed her closer to the school statue. Emiko looked back, taking a moment before giving Saki a smile. "Go get him," She cheered watching Emiko go to the statue.

Once Saki was out of ear shot, Emiko spoke out. "Nasa, you here?" With that, Nasa seemed to have been summoned, peering from the other side of the statue. Looking around, Senku was nowhere in sight yet, so they had a bit of time to discuss the incident. "Well, where do we start?"

Nasa bowed, one paw over his body, mimicking how a human would bow. "I am Nasa," He re-introduced himself. "I am but a humble servant of the Silver Millennium, tasked to find new sailor guardians and find the heir to the Silver Millennium."

The information was short but impactful, Emiko held her hand out, sitting on the wall surrounding the statue, taking deep breaths and letting the information to replay in her head. This meant the stories weren't completely true. It's said the legacy ended with Queen Lady Serenity but if there's an heir, what truly happened for the Millennium to come to such a sudden end? "Are you okay?" Emiko looked up, Senku looking down at her worried. Nasa let out a mewl, rubbing his head against Emiko's arm. Smiling, Emiko patting Nasa's head as Senku took the spot opposite his feline friend. "You seem tired, guessing you didn't have much sleep last night."

"You could say that," Emiko sighed, glancing at a smug Nasa. "I-if you don't mind me asking, how did you meet Nasa?

"It was about two years ago now," Senku answered, with a smile. "I found him when I was at my loneliest. I was so busy preparing for exams and I was never good at making friends anyway."

"I guess Nasa is your Saki," Emiko blurted out. Realising |what she said she covered her mouth in embarrassment. Senku couldn't help but laugh, it was a strange comparison but she was right. Emiko removed her hand. "Saki has been my friend since we were kids." Emiko placed a hand over her chest where her heart would be. "She looked after me while I was in hospital and even beat up the kids who made fun of me."

"Nasa wouldn't do that for me," Senku explained, looking to Nasa as if he was going to protest. "But he is a good hug on a cold night and doesn't talk during a movie."

"I am a pretty good friend," Nasa spoke Emiko looking down at Nasa and then at Senku who acted like he didn't hear anything as he started to unpack his lunch. "Senku cannot understand me." Nasa explained like this situation was normal. "You are the first person to understand me since I began my search."

I can't handle this situation anymore, Emiko groaned. "Though, seems my friend circle has gotten bigger," Emiko blushed at Senku's sudden comment, amazed how she could say it so easily. I guess friends is a good start.

---------------------

"Why are you following me?" Emiko asked, looking behind to see Nasa walking closely behind her. The last time this happened, she was given her transformation brooch. "I thought you would be with Senku."

"Same for you and Saki," Nasa laughed, jumping up and resting on Emiko's shoulders. That is a fair comment. "I thought you may like me to elaborate more about who I am."

Emiko continued to walk, wanting to get home while it was still light today, in case any weird shadows came out again, unsure if she was ready to transform again. "Honestly," She started. "I am confused but I feel like the more I think about it, the more confused I'll be."

"So, you'll help me?" Regretfully, Emiko nodded. Did she really have a choice? "When I met you, I just knew you were the person destined to take on the title Sailor moon. You are the pretty guardian who will fight, protected by moonlight."

"You sure about that?" Concerned, Emiko knew she wasn't the fittest of people or the smartest, so what qualified her to become the new Sailor Moon? "I promise to do my best though."

"We will need to find the other guardians first," Nasa explained.

"If I'm going off the stories," Emiko hummed, placing a finger on her chin. "Neo Queen Serenity had four members in her court. Mercury, Jupiter, Mars and their leader, Venus."

"You certainly have a lot of knowledge," Nasa praised. "Yes, we have four other guardians to find. The quickest way is to see if they can understand me." Emiko raised a brow. "Those who can understand me have a link to the Silver Millennium."

"So Senku doesn't have anything to do with all this?" Nasa nodded. "Then, I'll have to make sure he doesn't get hurt."

Nasa thanked Emiko, rubbing his face against her cheek. Emiko hummed, leaning into Nasa's touch. Senku is nothing but a bystander in all this. Like Saki is. Getting either of them involved in this wasn't something Emiko wanted.

--------------------------

Scrolling through his phone, Senku sat on his window seat, waiting for a reply from Masakuni. He hummed, observing the last message Masakuni sent last night at 1am. 'There has been a break through,' It read, Senku being able to hear Masakuni's over excited voice with every word.

The message was short but to the point. Senku jumped, feeling the familiar fur brush against his legs. He looked from his phone, Nasa looking up at him and giving a long mewl. "Welcome home," He laughed, tapping his chest, indicating for Nasa to cuddle up against his chest. Nasa happily complied, snuggling into Senku's chest, feeling relaxed at the heart beat. "You're starting to wonder off more. I wonder, where you go off to?" Nasa just let out a purr, Senku laughing and shaking his head. "Emiko is rubbing off on me. I start to think you talk too."

I wish you could understand me, Nasa thought, breathing out heavily. You've been my only friend for so long Senku. Protecting you and the world you live in; is the only way I'll be able to thank you.
