Stop Raiding My Heart

Chapter 14

    The couple arrived at Nuka-World with Nate. Once they stopped outside of FizzTop Grill, Gage yanked Nate from the back on the buggy and threw him onto the ground. Raiders began to notice Gage's aggression and began to gather. Gage handed his pistol and knife to Iza.

"Alright Gage you're clear." Iza said as she watched the other raider bosses approached. "This is a demonstration of what we do to traitors and those who dishonor us." She announced to the gathering crowd .The other bosses joined her at the head of the crowd.

Gage started by kicking the man in the stomach. Nate winched in pain with each kick. Nate looked at Iza with pain in his eyes. Gage grabbed Nate's hair and picked his head off the ground slightly. "She isn't gonna help you." Gage said as he made Nate look at Iza. "She is mine." Gage said with venom before slamming Nate's head into the concrete. "Iza my knife." Gage said as he approached the boss.

"No Gage this is a fair fight." Iza said sternly . "Unless you're gonna cut him free so he can put up a fight."

"If any fight is unfair it's because you lost not that advantage of your opponent." He answered. She rolled her eyes and handed him his combat knife. " I'll give it back." Gage said as he walked to Nate. "He was a war hero, so it's time he died like a man not a coward." He said as he knelt behind Nate. He cut the rope binding Nate's hands and feet.  Nate rolled over and struggled to stand, as Gage took the knife back to Iza.

       "You bastard!" Nate screamed as he wiped blood from the corner of his mouth. "Come fight me!" With that Gage punched the man in the face. He stumbled back into the ground. "You win!" The man forfeited.

       "That's  right you know you can't beat a raider you punk ass bitch."  Gage spat on the male. "What should we do with him?" He turned to face Iza.

      "Put a collar on him. He is a slave of Nuka World. The pack will be in charge of him." Iza declared.

       "I'll work him till his fingers bleed." Mason said as he grabbed the male by the hair. He began to drag him towards the amphitheater.

       Gage and Iza began to walk towards FizzTop. They rode the external elevator to the top. Iza dropped to the floor as soon as she entered. Gage rushed to her side. He shook the woman but she did not wake up. "Fuck fuck fuck fuck." He muttered as he picked her up. He carried her to their bed before checking her pulse. It was strong. He sighed heavily as he looked at the woman unconscious infront of him. "Iza I'm sorry. I did this too you. Your sickness only worries me more." He said softly as he brushed the hair from her face. He stood up and rushed from FizzTop to the market. He found the doctor and brought her to Iza.

      "So what happened to her?" The woman asked as she followed Gage. He led her up on the elevator.

      "She's pregnant and it's been causing harsh reactions. She's just been vomiting and weak up till just a few moments ago. This is the first time she has blacked out."

       "I see." Mackenzie said as she walked over to the bed. "So it is true. How far along is she?"

       "We're not sure there a month long period that it could have happened in." Gage answered. "Don't hurt her." He warned.

      "Can I touch her?"

      "Yes just don't hurt her. Do what you have too though."

       The woman pulled back the blanket that was covering her. She began to press around Iza's stomach. "Well there is no swelling. It feels like everything in her abdomen in where it is supposed to be. Has she had a fever?"

       "I'm not sure. She hasn't been eating as much. I try to keep her hydrated but sometimes even that makes her puke."

       "I see. Well with how our medicine has progressed all I can prescribe is bed rest. It is clear the stress from running the parks and traveling is causing her to grow ill." Mackenzie looked over at Gage. "I can't do much more than that I'm afraid. She should wake up in a little bit as well."

      "Good. You are dismissed." Gage said as the woman stood and left him. Gage waited for five minutes before the boss stirred awake. "You're awake." Gage said as he leaned over her and embraced her tightly. "I was so worried that you weren't gonna wake up."

      "I'm fine Gage." Her voice was soft and broken.

     "I called that doctor Mackenzie up here. She said you need to be on bed rest. I will call a meeting to let the other bosses know. For right now you are only doing meeting and paperwork. At least until the baby comes."

   "Gage I must do what is required of me. This baby changes nothing." She protested as she sung her feet over the edge of the bed.

   "You're not standing." Gage said he blocked her from standing. "Like I said I'm calling the other bosses." Gage said as he stood from the edge of the bed. "Don't move. I mean it." His voice was deep and husky. He walked over to the bar and grabbed his walkie talkie. "Hey leaders calling an important meeting at Fizztop be here is twenty." He said into the device.

     Within a few minutes Nisha and Mason arrived. After them was Red-Eye and Mag, Lizzy and Will. Finally Nisha and Shank arrived last. They were all seated at the bar. "You look like more shit than yesterday." Mason commented at the Overboss's pale appearance.

    "Thank you Mason." She said sarcastically. "Alright everyone as you know I am pregnant right?" The group nodded. "In turn I've been extremely sick. I am sure everyone noticed. After the public display this afternoon, when we came back I had blacked out. It freaked Gage out. So, I will be on bedrest. Gage will fill in on trips to the commonwealth. I will work on meetings and paperwork."

    "You should have gotten rid of it." Shank said in a sarcastic tone. "You would still be able to do your job that way. This fucking baby is just an excuses to be lazy."

     "Shank shut your mouth." Red-Eye argued.
