Stop Raiding My Heart

Chapter 8

    "Nuka-World is a safe place for my gangs." Iza said as she walked to the man on her balcony. "I take care of my raiders."

      "How did you come to power? I librated the Pitt then became the leader, but you just cleared the parks." Ashur looked at the woman. "You are a thin frail woman, how did you accomplish to earn the trust of thousands?"

     "I am not frail I am pre war. Second I earned my place through the gauntlet. Though I am very sure that if you were to kill me they would avenge my death. Many have tried, everything from death claws to a simple roach, nothing can kill me." Iza said with a cocky tone.

     "No one is immortal. In the Pitt we had two main monsters, trogs and workers."

     "Workers? Do you mean slaves?" Gage asked as he walked to the two raider bosses. "Our slaves know their place. They would not dare revolt."

      "We called the workers in the Pitt to keep morale high. You have more raiders than slaves here, we did not." Ashur said, his daughter enters the room.

      "If I were to provide support, what is in it for us?" Iza said as she turned to look at Ashur. "I am not giving you support for nothing in return."

     "If we take the mill back over I can provide steel and ammo to you. The steel could be used to build weapon. You would also get a cut of all steel sales." Ashur said, Gage watched the man carefully.

     "Will your raiders be under my control as well?" Ashur looked confused at Iza's question. "I am providing you with my raiders, my weapons, my caps I am rebuilding your empire. It will be mine if I am paying for it."

      "It was my empire to begin with. It will remain mine for as long as I live."Ashur was becoming irritated."Gage get your woman she is speaking out of line."

     Gage looked at Iza . "You could not hold your place. You let slaves take over. You are no raider boss, if I am in charge it will run smoothly with no revolts. Unlike you I know how to hold my empire. Gage is not the raider boss here I am. You will direct all comments to me. You are the one who came to me asking for help remember that!" Iza said with aggression. Gage placed his hand on his pistol. "Gage holster your weapon the child is here." He removed his hand. "Leave Nuka-World Ashur. I will not supply aid or shelter to a boy." Iza walked off the balcony.

     "Iza please reconsider I need my mill back." Two raiders dressed in disciple garbs came into the room. They dragged him and the child from the room. "Iza You'll regret this!" Iza raised her hand and the raiders stopped.

    "My friends release his family, but take him to your cave. You are free to do what ever you would like. Give his wife this bag of caps and tell her to go to the commonwealth." Iza said as she handed one a bag of caps. The two raiders nodded and took the family out of FizzTop grill. Iza sat on her bed with a thud.

    "You showed your teeth today." Gage said as he sat next the woman. "Do you want to take the Pitt for your self?" Gage asked.

    "Yes I say we take a squad and head out next week for the Pit." Iza said looking at Gage. He grabbed her cheek gently. He pulled her into a slow kiss. She melted into the kiss. The couple made out until Iza pushed the old raider down on the bed. She removed her shirt. Gage pulled her back down to him. Iza sat back up and unbuttoned the raider's jeans and slide off her legging. She road through the night. Moans could be heard from FizzTop grill. The couple went until the sun rose. The couple looked at each other out of breath and began laughing. "So you like rough raider Iza do you?" Iza asked as she drew on his chest with her hand.

    "I dont like a specific Iza. I love Iza as a whole." He said looking at her hand. He reached to hold her hand.

    "Gage we should assemble a meeting to discuss the Pitt with the other leaders." Iza said as she went to get out of bed. Gage groaned. "Come on we can get back to this later." Iza chuckled. In the days leading up to their departure, Iza and Gage cleared the two other parks and the bottling plant with a squad of raiders.

     At weeks end Gage and Iza were preparing for their departure. Iza was talking to Shank. "We will be back will a new land to control. We are leaving you in charge Shank. You do not have to do anything but over watch trading." Iza said. "We won't be gone longer then a few weeks."

     "Iza we gotta go!" Gage called from the buggy. Iza walked to the buggy. The couple road for hours until they reached a bridge that was filled with cars.

     "Snipers scout the area." Iza commanded. A few raiders on other buggies looked through the scopes of their guns.  All four gave a thumbs up. "We leave the buggies here." Iza said as she hopped out of hers. Gage stayed close behind Iza as they crossed the bridge. They found people walking between the large buildings. "Raiders aim, don't shoot until I give the signal." Iza said as the raiders used their guns from their hips and backs. Iza was approached by a woman in rags.

    "Who are you? Why are you here?" The slave confronted Iza. Others that were dressed in rags surrounded them. Gage moved to stand in front of Iza.

     "I am Iza. These are my friends we've come to take this area."Iza said. "Now I've answered your questions, who are you?"

    "It doesn't matter we took this mill from Ashur and we can keep it from you!" The woman yelled at Iza. The woman pulled a knife.

     "Is that the best you can do?" Iza asked and the woman nodded. "That's sad. No wonder you beat Ashur, he was weak. He did not care about you, work for me and I will pay you, feed you, keep conditions livable."

     "None of it will matter. The trogs will kill you all." The woman said harshly.

    "My team will clear the mill, so it is safe for you to work." Iza said as she took the knife from the woman. "We can either do this friendly ,or I can take it by force. Choice is yours."
