I used to think that I was made out of stone. I used to spend so many nights on my own. I never knew I had it in me to dance any more. But goddamn, you got me in love again.

Din jolted from his seat staring wide eyed as he was met with the frosty windshield in front of him. It all quickly came to him. The X-fighters, the ice, the crash. The minute Alaina came to his mind, he turned to see her seat was still empty and only the maker knows how long it has been since they crashed.

" Dank Farrik. Alaina!" He shouted getting up on wobbly legs forcing the frozen door open.

He grabbed onto the ladder feeling the cold steel through his leather gloves. He slid down before coming face to face with a giant hole on the side of the Razor Crest that it made his heart drop thinking of the child and Alaina being sucked out of it.

" Alaina!" He shouted again throwing crates around." Alaina! Damn it. Where are you?"

A small laugh caught his attention as he turned to see the child playing with a couple of snow flurries that had come in. He scooped the child into his arms checking for wounds only to see none.

" Hey there, buddy. Have you seen Alaina?"

To Din's luck, the child understood pointing his small little finger. Covered by a large crate, stuck out an arm that he knew only belonged to Alaina, herself. He nearly threw a crate over his shoulder seeing the side of her head was bleeding while she unconsciously laid on the ground.

" Hey." He spoke pressing a cloth to the side of her head." Alaina, can you hear me?"

" Ow."

" Thank the maker." Din breathed helping her sit up carefully seeing she groaned from some growing bruises.

" What happened?"

" We crash landed and then crashed a second time." He explained when she moved her hand to her wound wincing at the new found pain.

" Ow."

" Easy there." He warned.

She turned her head for something, but when it wasn't there, she began to panic looking around frantically.

" I had the kid." She explained trying to get up." He was just-"

" He's okay. He's..." Din promised when he turned to see the child eating one of the frog peoples eggs again." No!"

The child was startled by his father's shouting, but even more so when Din scooped him up in his arms again and shut the egg jar.

" I told you not to do that." He scolded noticing there were less eggs than before." How many did you eat?"

Crashing into an ice planet is less comfortable than Alaina thought it would ever be. The Razor Crest didn't shatter when entering that atmosphere, nor did it shatter into a million pieces when it hit the surface of Maldo Kreis. She was thankful for that, but on the other hand, despite Din's best efforts to crash on flat ice field, the ship skidded into a glacier.

She rubbed her arms seeing her breath every time she took one. If she had to be honest with herself, she was scared on where they would get though. The ship was no where near a repair shop and she didn't know how to adapt or even survive somewhere that was so cold. Din placed the last pin into the blanket he hung by the hole hoping it kept some of the cold out.
