Time, curious time. Gave me no compasses, gave me no signs. Were there clues I didn't see? And isn't it just so pretty to think. All along there was some. Invisible string. Tying you to me?

If Alaina from six months ago saw herself from today, willingly following a Mandalorian and his magical green baby across galaxy running from Imps, she'd call herself an idiot and hit herself upside the head for good measure. But this was her life now, and, as much as she like to snark, she actually liked it. It had been four months since Nevarro and six months in total since she met Din and the child.

To say how much things had changed was an understatement. Despite having Moff Gideon gone, the imperials were still after them causing them to spend time on a planet for no more than one or two days and flying through space in hyperdrive. It was like a routine for them, but a good one. Cutting some carrots, she smiled making dinner for the three of them knowing when Din came back, he would be likely starving.

For about a month, they been going from planet to planet trying to find Mandalorian's since Din had a hunch that finding one would help them also find a Jedi. Cutting one more piece of the carrot, she paused feeling a weird energy around her. Somehow knowing it was the child, she reached out next to her stopping a piece of the biscuits she made from floating towards the child.

" Ah. Ah. Ah." She disciplined shaking her head," You know we wait for him to get back"

The child gave a confused look letting out a babble.

" I know you're hungry, but we have to wait."

" Patoo." He babbled pouting his cute little face.

" Don't give me that face. It's too cute to argue with." She said grabbing a piece of the carrot she cut and handing it to him." What am I going to do with you?"

" Call him adorable about five more times." A voice broke out.

She smiled at the voice turning to see Din walk up the ramp, a smile on his face too that she couldn't see.

" Hey, there's the man we've been waiting for."

" Sorry, took longer than expected." He apologized lightly rubbing the child's head as he passed by.

" So, how was it?" She questioned closing the ramp and walking to get dinner ready." Did you get any information?"

" Believe it or now, we're about to see an old friend."

She frowned excitedly," Really? Where?"

" Tatooine." He answered.

She briefly paused while pouring the soup into the bowl at the memory, but like a flash, she broke from her thoughts continuing her task. Yet, Din still noticed.

" Are you okay?"

" Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" She chuckled placing a bowl on the table for the child." You hear that little guy, you're going to see Peli again."

The child did not care what she said babbling as he reached forward grabbing the biscuit and taking a big bite with hunger in his eyes that didn't surprise the two.

" I was told this Mandalorian would be in Mos Pelgo."

" Mos Pelgo?" Alaina questioned pouring a bowl for Din next." I haven't seen that one on Tatooine's maps."

" Look who's been studying." He complimented nodding." I haven't seen it either but I'm thinking maybe Peli would have maps pre-empire."

Alaina nodded back," She most likely would."
