I don't deserve it. I know I don't deserve it. But stay with me a minute. I swear I'll make it worth it. Can't you forgive me? At least just temporarily. I know that this is my fault. I should have been more careful.

Alaina didn't like it one bit. An entire prison ship and it was silent as a mouse. With each corner they turned, she prepared for a person to be patrolling or maybe even a droid, but all they were meant with was empty halls. Din remained by her side, keeping by her pace and blaster by his side ready to fire if needed to. They turned a narrow hallway this time seeing eye to eye with prisoners. Much to her surprise, the prisoners remained quiet seeing them jog by.

Maybe they just were hoping to be freed too.

" I don't like this." Din voiced out loud.

Xi'an smiled behind him," You always were paranoid." She purred in amusement.

" Is that true, Mando? Were you always paranoid?" Mayfield mocked in a annoyed voice.

A prisoner grunted loudly slamming their hands against the doors that held it confided. Alaina jumped raising her blaster the same time the others did when a warm feeling came around her. More like a warm being. She frowned looking down to see Din's arm around her pulling her back while he stood more in front in case of danger. It happened so quickly, but she felt the blush come to her cheeks at the feeling and stared up at him.

He stared back at her, grateful the beskar helmet was keeping how truthfully red his face had turned from his actions. He slowly released his hold and nodded his head, to which she nodded back as a thank you. Looking away, she met eyes with Xi'an, her eyes burning with such rage while her face remained motionless. She continued her stare until she turned slowly following after Mayfield and Burg.

She couldn't wait until they got this job. There was nothing more she wanted then to get away from these people and return to the Razor Crest and child. They made a left at the next juncture. Mayfield peeking his head around the corner before beaking Din to go to the other side of the wall. Din nodded holding his blaster high as he darted to the other side of the wall checking if the coast was clear. When it was, the others followed only to have a small vacuum droid come from the corner.

" What? It's just a little mousey." Burg chuckled." Come here, little mousey."

Mayfield rolled his eyes," Burg."

" Mousey, come here. Come here."

" Burg." Mayfield called again she Burg pulled his blaster out blasting the droid." No! Burg, what are you doin'?"

" What?" Burg grunted.

Alaina noticed movement from the corner of her eye and looked up just in time to see two armed droids come from the corner catching them.

" Look out!" She warned the minute two blast had passed right by them.

Din was quick with his actions shielding Alaina behind him while firing shot after shot to the droids. They hid behind a corner, Alaina kneeling down and shooting as close as she could to the droids. Two more droids joined their forces walking closer to the point they could no longer shoot without getting hurt.

" Stay here." Din whispered running down the opposite side of the hall they came from.

She wanted to ask what his plan was, but she had no time and also knew whatever he was going to do was going to get them out of this.
