Alaina hissed placing the burn cream onto her arm where Greef Karga had got her with his blaster. She should of attended to it hours ago, but she was busy making sure the child was healthy once again and attending to his needs. Now five hours after the incident, she had time to look at the bright red patch on her arm. The sound of heavy boots coming down the ladder made her glance over seeing Mando coming down after placing the ship on autopilot.
" You know, this trip might have me missing Arvala-7." She chimed looking down to the medicine in front of her.
" Here let me help you." He offered lightly coming by her side and picking the medicine he knew would work best.
She smiled turning so her arm was facing him and watched him spray some bacta onto the wound chilling the area before he used a swab to rub it more in.
" Did you get hit anywhere?" She asked looking over his suit.
Mando shook his head," Just some bruises and scrapes."
" Oh, you poor thing." She teased getting a smile out of him, though she would never know." Is it always like that? Not knowing if you'll live or not?"
It was something that couldn't leave her head. The way she didn't know if she was going to live or not while in Nevarro. The way she would just about do anything if it meant the child would make it out alive, even if she did not. Mando could see it on her face, the way she didn't regret one bit about what had happened, like he feared.
He tilted his head to the side," Sometimes."
" It felt great." She admitted causing Mando to look up to see her face again for any regret." It did. Knowing that I was risking my life for the kid. Is he okay by the way?"
" He's sleeping." Mando said grabbing the gauze wrap and beginning around her arm." I think he's taking a nap. You're all good."
She nodded her head helping him place at the medical items away feeling her arm already get ten times more better and the burning sensation to stop. When everything was away, she turned and followed Mando crossing her arms over her chest.
" So what's the plan? You heard the transmissions. You're wanted."
" You're wanted too." Mando pointed out climbing up the latter to the cockpit.
" That's a first." She muttered climbing up herself.
Mando went straight to his chair double checking some gears while Alaina sat at the chair behind him watching as he pulled up a hologram with planets, swiping through each one uninterested as the next one.
" I'll have to find a planet that rarely gets attention and hide away there."
She tilt her head, curious," There's planets like that?"
Mando nodded. His helmet is unreadable as always, but she can tell he's watching her," You really don't know much about the galaxy?"
" Arvala-7 was my only home." Alaina said, mustering a half-smile
" How come?"
She looked down to the ground seeing they had enough room to sit down together.
" Come on, sit down. If we're wanted, we might as well get to know each other." She joked noticing in a little shelf, was a standard deck of cards." Want to play Gin?"
