LAST CHAPTER
3 months later
"Anny, would you please hold still!"
"No, Oliver, I'm a free spirit! I don't have to stay still!"
"Please!"
"Ugh, fine."
Oliver was taking an art class at a local college and was doing a still life painting for his first project. He thought Anny was the perfect subject. Oh, but he should have known Anny well enough by now to know that she hated staying still. She was an active girl and as she put it 'a free spirit,' so being painted was torturing her.
"You are so beautiful. I just had to paint you for this," Oliver told her sheepishly. Anny rolled her chocolate brown eyes and grimaced.
"Stop trying to butter me up! You know I hate this," she replied in disdain.
"Shush! I'm almost done," Oliver scolded.
"You've been saying that for the past hour!"
"Yea, but this time I mean it."
I couldn't help it so I laughed. These two fought like a married couple! Constantly bickering, they were hilarious.
"Alright, I'm done!" Oliver announced and stood up from his chair. He stretched which caused all the bones in his back to crack.
"Finally! I'm out of here! I have to go for a run or I'm going to go insane!" Anny told us whilst sprinting towards the door. Oliver quickly caught her, wrapping his arms around her.
"Don't you want to see the finished product?" Oliver questioned her, giving her the puppy dog eyes.
"Fine, fine," Anny giggled. They walked over to the canvas, but I stayed sprawled on the couch. I decided that that was a personal moment so I didn't want to intrude.
"OH. MY. GOODNESS!!!!!!" Anny shrieked. "That is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!" I heard clapping and jumping up and down and knew that Anny was in awe.
"Well duh, it's you," Oliver retorted, chuckling. I heard a loud smack. "Hey!"
"It's not beautiful because it's me; it's beautiful because it's creative, colorful, and unique," Anny told him softly. After I felt a vibration from my pocket, I tuned out of their conversation.
I have a thing to do at school, so we have to reschedule our date - Jeremy
I put my phone back in my pocket. I had been planning on a nice day filled with a picnic, roller-skating, and ice cream, but I guess school came first. I sighed, closing my eyes.
"What's wrong little man?" Oliver asked, appearing beside me suddenly.
"Yea, what's wrong, Mason?" Anny added.
"Jeremy is stuck at school," I said in disappointment. Anny raised her perfect eyebrows at me and grinned devilishly. I frowned at her. What was she thinking?
"Just go surprise him at school!" she told me with a 'duh' tone. See him at school? Well, I guess that would work.
"Anny comes to see me all the time- to the annoyance of the teachers," Oliver stated.
"Okay, okay, I'll do it," I replied. They grinned at me and then shoved me off the couch. Pain shocked through me as I crashed onto the ground. Anny and Oliver stepped over me and proceeded to cuddle on the couch I had just been occupying. Well okay then.
I glared at them before leaving to surprise my studying boyfriend.
Jeremy's P.O.V.
I shuddered in disgust at what I was about to do. I was about to hurt my only love terribly and I couldn't do anything about it. He would hate me forever and that thought caused a pain in my chest so large, it felt like a rock was crushing my heart. A hot tear slipped down my cheek. They were threatening my mother and sister. If I do what they say, they won't be harmed. They said they would bring my father back into our life if I didn't. I couldn't have that.
I hoped with all my heart that Mason wouldn't show up. If he didn't, then he wouldn't find out about this. I knew that he would though. Even though I had cancelled, he would come to be with me while I studied. He was just that sweet.
Delilah walked into the room with a grin plastered on her face. She would enjoy this. So would her brother.
"Please don't make me do this," I pleaded. I hated begging, but I would to save my relationship. After college, I planned on proposing to Mason, but he wouldn't want to be with me after this. Delilah cackled.
"No way am I letting you back out of this," she purred. An icky feeling was welling up inside me.
Mason's P.O.V.
I continued the walk to the college with Jeremy's favorite flower. I smiled to myself as I imagined the surprise and happiness that would be on his face.
I made it there about ten minutes later and wandered around the campus. The huge brick buildings and beautiful landscape were magical. Why did I still have to be in high school? That brought up a new problem. I had no idea where I was going.
I walked around every building utterly confused and lost. Where the heck could he be?
"Lost, my blonde friend?" A voice asked. I looked in the direction of the voice and saw a shocking boy with electrical blue hair. I nodded, too, well, shocked to speak.
"Where are you going?" he asked. I stood there for a second just staring at him. The grin that was on his face didn't falter because of my silence, which was a good sign.
"I'm looking for Jeremy Nightler," I told him. He thought for a second before nodding enthusiastically.
"I know who that is! I'll show where I last saw him enter," the blue haired boy stated. I sighed in relief. This wouldn't be a wasted trip after all.
"I believe he is in there," he said when we made it to the music building. I nodded. This would totally be a place Jeremy would be. I walked in and instantly heard Jeremy's favorite song, If It Means A Lot To You by A Day To Remember, blaring from one of the rooms.
I paused a minute before entering the room. Would he be too busy to see me? Would he be unhappy that I surprised him? I shook off the nerves with a mighty shake and twisted the nob. Inside were two naked chests pressed to each other. The only thing I could think was how contaminated that couch they were on was. My mind was too numb to process a single thing.
Jeremy completely bare of any clothes was on top of a very naked, smug looking Delilah. Jeremy seemed lackluster, but that didn't register. Delilah looked over at me in what I thought was shock and was quick to cover herself. Maybe if I had paid more attention I would have noticed how badly she was faking.
My hands shook violently and I could no longer see straight. Jeremy stood up and began to shout something at me, but I couldn't hear it. I just couldn't function properly. Before I could hear what he was saying, Delilah covered his mouth and glared at me.
"Get lost fag," I could vaguely understand her sneer.
Only one word banged around my brain: cheater.
