Mason’s P.O.V.

“Jeremy, stop staring at me,” I whispered with an amused smile. He grinned at me and batted his eyelashes.

“I can’t help it, you are just too cute when you are sleeping! You look so peaceful, well… except those times you cry in your sleep… but none the less, too cute!” Jeremy whisper yelled.

“Why are we whispering?” I asked. He shook his black hair out of his eyes and frowned slightly.

“Uuuum… I don’t know,” Jeremy admitted. He squinted his eyes and stared at me some more. A giggle escaped his lips before he suddenly became serious.

“Uh, Jeremy?” I questioned. Jeremy’s eyes had glasses over and he became unresponsive. “Jeeeeeeeremy?” He smiled sadly, scooping me up into his arms. He didn’t seem to care that I was, yet again, only wearing boxers.

“Mason, Mason, Mason, I don’t know how I’ve begun to care about you so much,” Jeremy began. Emotion was swirling in his deep green eyes. “We haven’t even known each other that long and I can’t stop thinking about you.” Jeremy’s wistful expression and tone was beginning to frighten me.

“I-,” I didn’t get to say anything as he covered my mouth with his hand.

“Let me finish. I haven’t had much luck with relationships. As you heard from Tanner, the guy I had dated for quite a while abandoned me. Though, unlike what he said, I did not cry like a wimp. Also there was someone else I didn’t tell you about…” Jeremy informed me hesitantly.

“And who is he?” I asked worriedly. I could not handle anybody else like Tanner or the other guy who ruined him.

“Uh, it’s a she…” he said before flinching, ready for me to blow.

“A she?” I mumbled. He was into girls? How could this be?

“Yes, but this was a long time ago, I promise!” Jeremy was quick to reassure me.

“That doesn’t help me much,” I sighed and told him to tell me the story.

“Okay… well, years ago while I was in high school before I made enemies with Tanner, I met Delilah. She was beautiful, but turned out to be very selfish. This is also how I happened to meet Oliver. It was our second year anniversary and I was bringing her concert tickets. When I got there Oliver and Delilah were making out on her bed. It was their first year anniversary. She had been cheating on me for a year, a whole freaking year. The only reason I didn’t have the heart to be mad at Oliver was because he honestly had no clue. He went to the concert with me and Delilah probably still uses people to this day,” Jeremy eyes began to water as finished his emotional story.

“Do you still have feelings for her?” I inquired. I desperately needed to know this. From the tears in his eyes I could already assume the answer.

“No, I can honestly say that I don’t have feelings for that heartless bitch,” he answered angrily as he twisted his lips in irritation. I blinked in surprise.
