Chapter Seven

The days together were blissful as they were called the campus couple.

Her friends were happy with the news.

"I am so happy for the both of you!"

"Me too! So was tell us. Is he a good kisser?"

Alana couldn't help but laugh.

"He is an excellent kisser"

They were squealing as they headed their next class. Ben was there was well and they shared a few few words until the class began.

"I miss you already" he kisses her forehead and that made her smile and went red. Her eyes were watching starter started squealing and then the teacher came with a beautiful girl.

The smile Ben had turned into a frown when he saw the girl and Alana knew this was trouble.

"Alright everyone. Let's give a warm welcome to another addition to our class, Ms. Amanda Goldstein"

There were wolf whistles as the new girl were being flirty and Alana felt like gagging.

Alana was eyeing at the new girl and saw her giving Ben a flirty smile and she felt angry.

He avoided the gaze of the new girl and turned to face her. He came closer and kissed her earning a whistle from the boys of the class.

"Settle down. Amanda you may take a seat beside Benjamin"

Amanda went to sit just beside Benjamin and said "Hi Ben. Its nice to see you again"

By now Alana was getting angry. Ben knew she was mad

"How did you end up here Amanda?"

"Oh. Well your father told me to get you. Since...."she started to touch him making him uncomfortable "Our family will be united soon anyway. Isn't that right, fiancee"

With those words Benjamin's eyes widen as he saw Alana now getting mad. She shot her hand up and told the teacher "May I go to the bathroom Mrs. Robbins?"

Mrs. Robbins just nods and soon Alana left the classroom. Ben then shot his hand up as well and told Mrs. Robbins "May I go to the bathroom Mrs. Robbins?"

She nods and soon he rushed put looking around for Alana. He found her by the stairwell, crying as he sat by her side.

Alana saw him and continue to cry.

"Alana I can explain"

"Explain what exactly? That you lied to me about being the person you love? About having a fiancee?"

"I.....I....I don't know how to explain it as it is complicated"

"Then make it less complicated"

"My family arranged the marriage with the Goldstein from the kingdom of Helius. They want us to be a strong ally as to prepare for war. I ran away from that place Alana because I was told that she is nobody to me. I was told by the book of prophecy that I will have a soulmate whom I'm destined to be with and and that person is you Alana"

She is still crying

"I'm sorry Alana. I promise I will fix this. Trust me okay?"

She take a look at him and nodded. They shared a kiss, and at that moment the bell rang indicating that the class already ended.

"Let's go" he said and put his hand over hers and walked hand in hand back to the classroom to get their things only to find Amanda waiting by the table and when she saw them she came over and pushed her aside and said "Don't touch my fiancee with that grimy hands of yours, peasant"
