Secrets of the Eclipse

Chapter Ten

Alana felt scared when the King ordered something that doesn't make sense.

"I order you to stay until the wedding and until you give birth you will be giving the baby to the newlyweds and we will reward greatly"

Alana by now felt like crying as her baby was going to be sold by some greedy people.

"I apologise as I must decline Your Highness. Do not fret. I will not come near your son. This baby in my womb won't inherit as the next King as it is confirmed to be a girl. It will not benefit your kingdom. Once again I apologise" she excused herself and left.

Alana felt proud of herself. She ran out and went to the chambers  where she changed back into the clothes that she wore when she arrived and was about to leave when the old lady came in and ask "Where are you going?"

Alana didn't said a word as she hugged the old lady but before she could was out the door the old lady said "You can stay with my family"

Alana couldn't be anymore grateful but she felt she would be a burden but she didn't had the heart to decline followed the old lady to the side entrance of the castle and soon went down a path where it took about 15 minutes walk and soon they've reached a small cottage.

There was a campfire outside and a man was cutting wood. 

There were little children running around playing.

"Welcome to my home" the old lady said and Alana smiled and finally said "Thank you"

The old lady's eyes widen "You can talk" Alana just nodded.

"I'm sorry for deceiving you. I didn't want to get close to anymore or I might expose my true identity"

"It is alright dear. In the castle no one can be trusted. You just stay as long as you like"

The hugged the old lady and she introduces the man who was cutting wood is her son in-law, Edgar and the children that were playing are Jenna and Damon.

And then she saw someone coming out from the kitchen and Alana's eyes widen in shock

"Ana?!"

She was shocked as well saw her "Princess Alana. What brings you here?"

The old lady's eyes widen in shock as well.

"PRINCESS?!"

Alana then remembered why she was there and started to cry.

"Oh no. What's wrong Your Highness?" Ana comforter her and then saw her "You are with a baby? Is it..." she didn't finish her words and Alana just nodded.

"What happen Mother? Why is she here?"

The old lady then explained "She came suddenly after a guard caught her wondering around the castle, I didn't know she is pregnant until later. But today.....she was packing and I knew something happened. I didn't know the detail"

Ana rubbed Alana's back as she cried, which she soon fell asleep. Ana put her to the guestroom using her powers where Alana was floating and placed a thick blanket over the sleeping figure.

The ring that was around her neck suddenly glowed a purple glow and suddenly a portal appeared and 12 figures came in together with a woman who Ana became familiar with.

"Your Majesty, Queen Adriana" Ana bowed and so did Edgar who came in together with the children. The old lady bowed as well.

Adriana smiled and greeted her "Ana! I miss you!" Adriana hugged Ana tightly and at that moment Alana woke up and her eyes widen te see her mom and dad together with her uncles.
