Secrets of the Eclipse

Chapter Nine

Alana woke up the next morning feeling comfortable and realised that she's sleeping on a real bed instead of a makeshift one at the servants quarters.

She looked around and saw the old lady and she was surprised to see her on the bed.

"Dear why are you sleeping on His Highness Prince Benjamin's bed?" She ask

Alana couldn't answer and at moment Benjamin came in and saw her and the old lady  "I brought her here. Why didn't tell me that she is with a child?"

'"I didn't know know until recently, Your Highness" the old lady bowed. Alana got out of the bed and bowed as well.

Benjamin then said "Please leave the room. I would like to rest" soon  both was about to leave before Benjamin continued "leave the young servant here. I send her back to you soon"

The old lady bowed and  whispered to Alana's ear "If His Highness wants anything just do as he says" and left the room closing the door firmly.

He then stared at her and pulled her to sit on the bed. He smirked "why are you here? Aren't you the one who told me you don't want to see me ever again"

Alana just kept quiet, avoiding his gaze and he grew impatient.

"Look at me while I'm talking to you" he cupped her chin up, facing her. Her eyes watered but ignored them.

"Answer me!"

Alana opened her mouth wanting to say something but it felt heavy. He gave up and pushed her to lie down on onto the bed.

"Are you mute or pretending to be one?"

She looked at him and knew there's no use to speak to him as he will push him away just like he did a month ago.

She stood up and looked down on the ground.

"You can leave" he said in a cold tone and Alana bowed soon leaving the chamber.

Unknown to her someone they saw Alana leaving the Prince's chamber and had a rather interesting.

Meanwhile Alana laid on the makeshift bed and thought of Benjamin.

She then suddenly feel pain and there it was unbearable . She groaned in intense pain.

'Baby please bear with it. Just a little while longer' she rubbed her belly, feeling the pain lessen.

"Mama have no idea what I'm doing baby" she continue rubbing her belly

"Your dada is marrying someone else baby. She will be so lucky to have your dada"she whispered softly. She hummed a song and soon fell into a deep sleep.

As the week goes by soon the kingdom are now surrounded by beautiful decorations.

The other servants were talking about that there will be some guests from another kingdom coming.

"I heard that Princess Amanda from  Helianthus are coming"

"You mean His Highness, Prince Benjamin's fiancee?"

"Yes. They look so beautiful together"

Alana couldn't listen anymore. As she finished her task she decided to take a short walk to the garden. 

She sat in a bench and rubbed her belly.  'He grew more bigger'she thought as she looked up onto the clear blue sky.

'I should go back to New York. There's no point on me staying here any longer' she continue rubbing her belly.

She didn't see someone approaching her and sat down next to her.

"It's a beautiful day isn't it?" Someone say and that broke her reverie of thoughts as she turned to face someone who resembled Benjamin and her eyes widen as she gasped and stood up to bow.
