Boom Town - Part One.

- ~ -

"Oh, thank you lovely!" Called out Lynnette when the Tardis revealed an outfit for her. The girl had quickly learned that the Tardis greatly enjoyed dressing her up and the spaceship had a fabulous taste in fashion, so who was she to deny such marvellous ideas.

Once again, she had black combat boots with brown checkered trousers, a simple white shirt and a cream sweater vest to go on top. The Tardis had also supplied an array of jewellery for her to pick from, and with some deliberation, Lynnette decided to wear a golden neckless with a star-shaped pendant, a plethora of stunning rings upon her fingers and a pair of studded earrings.

The Tardis hummed softly when the girl finished dressing, showing her clear appreciation for it and Lynnette laughed softly. Then a gentle knock came from her door and she opened it to reveal the Doctor standing there with an awkward grin.

"Hey, Rose sent me to wake you up in case you were still sleeping," He smiled, "She said and I quote 'You might have to drag her out of bed'."

Lynnette snorted, "Nah, the Tardis work me up so I could see the outfit she planned for me today."

It was then he took notice of just how good she looked, the clothes she wore suited her perfectly but he didn't expect anything less from her or the Tardis. "I see you've discovered the Tardis' love for fashion then."

She nodded with a smile and he huffed in amusement, "You found out much quicker than me, I only realised it after I wandered into the wardrobe. So many different clothing types."

Lynnette laughed loudly, the sound echoing off the walls gently, "Oh, I bet. I was just about to head over to the main control room, do you want to walk with me, darling?"

The Doctor grinned, "I would like nothing more, Firefly."

And with that, they joined arms and walked along the winding hallways of the Tardis, unaware of the sentient spaceship's joy as she watched them talk to one another, knowing this was only the start of a very long relationship. The Tardis loved being able to see across all of space and time, she did get the very best of spoilers. River would be proud.

When they did get to the console room Rose had just gotten off to the phone with her mother and immediately grabbed her friend's arm, dragging her over to the side of the room, wanting to talk to her in a more private setting.

"Rosie?" Questioned the female in confusion.

The girl huffed, "My mum just said that Mickey's been on dates with other girls!"
