25: Another sleepover

Y/n's POV

A five-year-old kid has a pet albino ball python??

I gulped down my own saliva, sweat starts dripping down the side of my forehead. "Does she bite though?" I asked Camilo who was still holding the snake--or should I say, Catalina. 

He shook his head. "Nope, not at all." he says as he puts it down and pat its head. He looked back at me and a smirk formed on his lips. "But I do." 

The fuck?!

"You know I'm scared as hell right? and now you have the guts to flirt??" I exclaimed and the jerk just started laughing. "I-I'm sorry, I can't help it. You just look cute when you're scared." he says in between his laugh.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "Whatever, just, get rid of it." I demanded, using my hand to shoo it away. "Ah, come on, just give her a light tap on the head."

"But she barely even know me, what if she bites me before I can even get to touch her??" 

"If she does, I hope it's in your neck and I won't hesitate to suck it." he winks at me. I hit the back of his head and he groaned in pain. "You sneaky pervert!" 

"Ow! what was that for??" he complains, rubbing the back of his head. "Now come on, here, " he grabs my hand and gently placed it on Catalina's head. I shut my eyes close, too scared to look at it. 

"Jeez hermosa, there's no reason to be scared. You can open your eyes now." I sighed and slowly opened my eyes. The next thing I know I was starting to pet her, she was just chill too. I guess Camilo was right. 

I smiled then she started to slither on my arm up to my neck, her head was just few inches from me. My breath hitched. I got nervous but then it all disappeared when she rubs her head on my cheek. "I guess she likes me." I spoke and Camilo was just staring in obvious admiration.

"Hmm, she looks beautiful doesn't she?" he asks and I nodded my head. "I wasn't talking to you, I was talking to Catalina." he smirked and I felt myself blushing. 

I heard Catalina hissed. "Yeah, he can be a total flirt." I whispered to her as if we were talking to each other. She slithered back down to the ground and went back to the corner where I guess she was sleeping or who knows what she was doing there.

"You think Antonio had found the others yet?" I asked as I turned my gaze back on him. "I don't know, maybe?" he says and took a peak behind the leaf. 

His side profile was perfect but something else caught my eyes. "Am I hallucinating or is that a real spider resting on your hair?" I asked which made him jumped off his seat. 

"What?? where??" he looks back at his back and dusted off his ruana.

"Dumbass, I just told you it's resting on your hair. " 

"AAH!! get it off get it off get it off!!." he shouted while moving his head here and there. I wanted to laugh at his situation but can't. 

"Here, let me help you." I move closer to his side and grabbed a stick nearby to use it to get the spider out of his hair. But I found it hard to get rid of. "Stop moving!" I lightly hit his head with the stick. "It won't budge, I guess he/she likes your hair. It does seem comfy though." 

He sighed. "I guess I have to wait for Antonio then." and just as that the big leaf that was covering us opened and we saw Antonio along with the others. "There you are." Antonio says pointing at us both.

Mirabel gave me a teasing look as she pulled me by her side. "What were you two doing in there huh?" she puts her hands on her hips.

"Uh, hiding?" I said in a sarcastic tone. She raised an eyebrow and I rolled my eyes. "What else do you think we were doing then?" I asked.

"Nothing." she simply says. 

I shook my head and we went back to where the others were. The spider on Camilo's hair was gone and everyone was out from their hiding spot. "Well, I guess that's enough for tonight. You need to sleep Papito." Pepa-out of nowhere- says as she lifts Antonio in her arms. 

Mom and dad also were also here. "Come on mija, we have to go home." I nod my head and was about to exit the room but Camilo grabs my wrist. "Uhm, actually, if you don't mind. Can y/n stay here for the night?" he asks.

Mom and dad looked at each other. "She can sleep in my room." Mirabel raises her hand. 

"I have other plan in my mind but nevermind." I heard Camilo whispering. 

"Do you want to, Mija?" dad asked and I slowly nodded my head. They both let out a sigh before pulling me in for a hug. "If that's what you want Mi vida, then you can stay." Mom smiled. 

They bid their goodbyes before they left the Casita, leaving me behind with the rest of the Madrigals. Mirabel lend me some of her clothes for me to wear for the night. I went to the bathroom and changed into the crop top and shorts Mirabel gave me. 

After that, I went back to her room and Casita had placed a spare bed for me to sleep on. "Oh, there you are. " she says while dusting the sheets of her bed. I waved my hand and yawned. "Looks like someone's sleepy." I heard her chuckle.

I throw myself into the bed and laid, facing the wall. The blanket was warm and comfy enough. "I guess this is good night then."

I hummed. "Good night.

I closed my eyes and was about to drift off to dreamland but then I felt arms wrap around my waist. I turned around only to see a sleepy Camilo laying beside me. "What the heck?? Camilo what are you doing here?" 

He just hummed and pulled me closer to him. "Shut it hermosa, just go to sleep." he mumbled.

"Does Mirabel even know you sneaked in here?"

"No, so stay quiet." I huffed and just closed my eyes and drift off to sleep. I don't have the energy to argue with him, I just wanna sleep.

I woke up out of nowhere, I looked around to see Camilo who was cutely snoring by my side and Mirabel sleeping peacefully on the other bed. 

I felt my throat was so dry, I need water. (I mean, Camilo's 70% water 😏)

I slowly get Camilo's hand off of me and went out of the room, quietly closing the door of Mirabel's room. I head downstairs through the kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. 

I put back the glass on the sink and left the kitchen. As I was just about to take my turn, I bumped into someone's hard chest. I backed away a bit and look up to see the person's face.

"Carlos?"
