The Same Day...Please Excuse Any Mistakes!❤️
"Okay, Mr. Williams. You do have a mild concussion, but it's nothing that we couldn't handle. We've prescribed you some pain medicine; be sure to follow the instructions thoroughly."
"Is there anything he should be doing at home besides taking the medicine?"
"Besides get on a consistent sleep and wake schedule, try not to be in front of a screen right before going to bed. If you feel the need to nap during the day, please do so; don't fight it. Also try to stay away from caffeine."
"Okay. Anything else?"
"Nothing else. Just remember to stay hydrated. Anymore questions?"
"No, sir. Thank you."
"Of course. I'll be back in a few with your discharge papers."
The doctor walked out and Farah turned to Trey with a look in her eyes basically forcing him to tell her everything that happened.
"Mannn. Ol' girl came back up there yelling and shit. I told her to leave and she threw something at me when I turned around. My head was ringing and everything, bae. Then I heard everybody yelling at ha stupid ass and I just passed out I guess."
"Oh my goodness, Trey. Can never catch a break!"
"I ain't tell her to throw it!"
"Yeah. Okay."
"Girl whatever. Where my baby at?"
Farah's heart dropped. She was just now realizing that she completely forgot about Novah.
"Bae! What's up witchu?"
"I- I- I forgot to pick her up. I FORGOT TO PICK HER UP, TREY!"
"Wha-?"
Before Trey could get the whole word out Farah was already out the door. A second after she rushed out, the doctor came back in with his discharge papers.
"Okay, sir. Here you are. Sign here, here and here. And then you're free to go."
Trey just hurriedly scribbled his signature and rushed out after saying goodbye to the doctor. When he made it to the entrance Farah was sitting there impatiently while trying to get ahold of someone from the daycare.
"They're not answering, bae! THEY'RE NOT ANSWERING!"
"Calm down, Farah. Shit. Let's just go and I'll keep trying for you. Or do you need me to drive?"
"Boy you probably seeing three of everything. Sit back."
Treyton just gave her a side eye and let it slide because of the state she was in.
"Imma let you slide. Didn't Renée call or text you privately? What's that number?"
"I don't know. Go through my messages; it should be a unsaved number."
