After Emily left the building, she noticed Lavinia in her car, probably waiting for her. The poet sighed, looked down and entered the vehicle.

"What took you so long?" - Lavinia said, looking upset. "Do you know how hard it was finding this place?"

"Yeah, I'm sorry. I just... I had a fight with Sue. It didn't end well." - another sigh slipped out of Emily's mouth.

"I figured it out from your expression. What happened?" - as the blonde asked that, she started the car and left the building's parking lot.

"There was a misunderstanding. I said something I shouldn't have and Sue got it all wrong. It's my fault though." - Emily replied, looking out the window of the car.

"You'll tell me everything when we get to the villa. For now... try not to think about it too much and enjoy the ride."

"I'll try." - Emily replied and suddenly an idea hit her. "Vinnie, can I smoke in here?"

"You know, smoking does kill you." - the blonde said, squinting.

"Oh, wow, does it now? They should put that on the box!" - Emily joked, making Lavinia look away from her and giggle.

"Okay, okay. Smoke all you want, just open the window." - the poet did as she was told and when she did, she noticed Sue was looking at them from her terrace.

"Oh, no..." - Emily said, almost inaudible.

"What is it?"

"Sue saw us. She probably thinks you and I are dating because of that plan we put into action in the bar. When you flirted with me." - Emily pulled out her phone and scrolled through her chats until she found Sue. "Should I text her and tell her you're my sister?"

"I got a better idea. Leave it at that. It'll make you look desirable."

"Or she'll get even more mad at me." - Emily sighed and turned her phone off. She pulled a cigarette out of her pack. That reminded her of when she smoked in Sue's apartment. And how they talked about what mattered to them. How things used to be so easy and beautiful. Emily tried not to think about that as she lit up her cigarette and took a puff.

....

Sue didn't have much to do today. In fact, she planned on playing the piano and eventually see some friends. But what frustrated her was the verse Emily sang that was stuck in her head. This and the poet's beautiful voice. That's why Sue wanted to get it out of her system. She started playing, beginning with the melody she imagined would be before the verse. Then she sang beautifully, thinking about Emily's voice.

"𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨?" - she sang, almost shedding a tear. "𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨?𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘧𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨? 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘐'𝘮 𝘣𝘳𝘰𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘪𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦?"

Sue couldn't take it anymore. She thought she met someone who cares about her, who likes her and respects her. But in her mind, it turned out she didn't. Was Emily actually going to cheat on her? Were they even a couple to begin with? Did Sue really mean so little to Emily? These kinds of questions were troubling and suffocating Sue's mind. Before she heard a loud knock on the door.

"It's open!" - Sue shouted and closed the piano that she was staring at. She turned around and saw her ex. She sighed. "What do you want, Damien? I thought I was clear before."

"I saw you coming in here with some girl yesterday. Where is she?" - the guy asked, looking as furious as ever.

"Wow, stalking much?" - Sue raised a brow. "I will remind you I can do whatever I want. I told you, we're over."

"We're not until 𝘐 say we are." - Damien headed to Sue in a threatening manner. She moved on the corner of the piano chair that was furthest from her ex, trying to keep the distance between them. "Who is she?" - Sue knew what to say to make Damien go away. He was one of those guys that get really possessive when someone gets into their territory, but give up when they find out they can't win.

"She's my girlfriend. And just when I thought it wouldn't be easy getting over you... turns out, it was." - the singer stood up and crossed her arms, looking at Damien with an emotionless face.

"Do you really think I'll let this one slide? I'll tell the press you're gay and you can kiss your career goodbye." - for a moment that sentence scared Sue, but she thought of the best comeback.

"And who will the fans believe? The angry ex or their idol?" - Sue raised a brow. Damien looked down. "Yeah. That's what I thought."

"You're so conceited. Do you really think you're somebody's idol?" - the guy asked through a slight chuckle.

"Leave, Damien. This is no longer your home." - Sue sighed. Damien headed to the door.

"This ain't over!" - he commented and slammed the door shut as he left.

....

As Emily and Lavinia travelled to their family villa, all the poet could think about was Sue. She never imagined things would take such a drastic turn, just when she thought everything was as good and beautiful as it could possibly get. Emily didn't even mean the things she said that upset Sue. Right now Emily was mentally cursing at herself. She always found a way to ruin things with a girl she liked. But Sue wasn't like the other girls. She really was special to Emily. The latter could even say she was in love with her - something she was too afraid to admit. Why? Because every time Emily told someone she loved them, they pulled away. Hell, that's the reason the poet hasn't said "I love you" in years. Except thinking about all of this, Emily kept checking her phone every few minutes to see whether Sue texted her. The poet tried to fight her pride and send a message instead, but what if that made things worse?

An hour away from the villa, Emily fell asleep with heavy thoughts on her mind and headphones in her ears. She had put on her sad playlist, not only because she was sad about what happened with Sue, but also because it helped her get inspired for writing. She knew she had to finish that song. That way she'll have a reason to text the singer.

After a while the Dickinson sisters were at the villa. Emily woke up when the car stopped and looked out the window.

"We're here." - Vinnie announced, not noticing Emily was already awake, but when she did, they went out the car and entered the house. It was going to be a long five days...
