After the long walk on the beach and a bit of chain-smoking on Emily's part, the two girls went to the poet's apartment. They were both tired and were supposed to go to work the next day, so the least they could do was catch some sleep. It was 1 AM already when they got to the apartment which meant they had about 5 hours to sleep in the best possible case.

When they got to Emily's place, the poet unlocked the door and invited Sue in, telling her to make herself at home. The singer yawned due to tiredness and took off all of her clothes, then she snuggled up under the covers of Emily's bed. The latter just looked at her a bit perplexed.

"What?" - Sue asked, noticing the face Emily was making.

"Are you going to sleep naked?" - the poet asked. Sue grinned.

"Well, it's too hot for pajamas, don't you think?" - the shorter girl made herself comfortable on the bed and winked. Emily didn't know for sure what that meant.

"I won't be able to sleep next to you that way." - was Emily's reply. Sue chuckled and uncovered herself. The poet just looked at her dumbfounded, unable to look away.

"You're so cute." - Sue stood up and pulled Emily into a kiss, as the latter felt Sue's breasts pressing against her own. That turned her on so much that she couldn't describe it. Emily wanted to deepen the kiss, but Sue pulled back. "Don't worry, I'll take care of you tomorrow." - with that Sue went to the bed again and covered herself. "How do you feel about some cuddling?" - she asked.

"Um..."

"Oh, come on. You'll see how releasing it is to sleep naked, being in your lover's arms."

Emily didn't know what to say. Was Sue actually suggesting all of this suddenly? And how would the poet sleep tonight, knowing Sue is right there, 𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘯𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘥 by her side? The taller girl decided she'd just go with it. It shouldn't matter that much.

"I'll let you touch me wherever you want." - Sue said and winked. That sentence made Emily come out of her clothes as quickly as possible, which made the other girl laugh. "You're so easy." - Sue added, receiving an eye roll from Emily.

After a minute or two the girls were lying comfortable on the bed, each of them unable to sleep. Emily was hugging Sue from behind, her hands being on the girl's breasts, massaging them, which was welcomed very well by Sue.

"You know," - Sue started after some silence. "I've been thinking. What are we?"

"We are... two people who enjoy each other's company, to say the least. People who have great sex and get along." - Emily replied, but what she said wasn't satisfactory to Sue.

"Aren't we a bit more than that?" - the singer asked in an even tone, turning around to look at Emily.

The latter has always been scared to lead this conversation. Like, she was sure it would turn into an argument or that she would lose Sue because of it. She needed to think of a strategy, a good reply that would prevent that.

"We'll be whatever you want us to be, Sue." - the poet said and closed her eyes for a second there, already feeling the exhaustion of the long day.

"I want us to be a couple, I mean, a 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭 couple. But is that what you want too?" - Sue raised both her brows, staring directly into Emily's eyes.

"I want whatever makes you happy." - was Emily's reply. "I'd love you to be my girlfriend, Sue." - the singer smiled genuinely. "Or even more than that."

"What?"

"My muse."

"Really?" - Sue's smile grew even bigger.

"Yes." - Emily said and closed her eyes. "Let's sleep now. Tomorrow's gonna be a long day."
