Baby Reveal

Cream's P.O.V

I sat in the cafe waiting for Blaze, Amy, and Rouge to show up. I ordered a muffin and chocolate milk to hold me over before they came. I had to admit I was a little nervous telling them about this news! I had three little baggies containing an item leading up to them realizing I was having triplets.

Hopefully, they showed up soon because I wasn't sure what to expect with myself being new to all of this. Not only that, I've been sort of nauseous. Maybe they'd be able to tell me about things they've been through. I sighed and relaxed a bit feeling the toll of all three of these babies. "Cream!" I heard a shout behind me. I looked over my shoulder and waved at Amy and Rouge who had arrived.

"Guys! Thank goodness!" I cheered, getting up to see them. "Where's Blaze?" I asked. "Oh, she had to park! She's coming!" Rouge reassured me.  Just then Blaze walked in happily. "Sorry! It's crowded this morning!" she stated. All of us hugged briefly and then hurried over to the table I was sitting at. "Soooo, we hurried as soon as we could! Tell us, is everything okay?" she asked me. I giggled and smiled. "Don't worry, I'm all good! It's just that... I've got something very important to tell you guys but I've been so uncertain about how to tell you!" I explained.

They looked baffled but I moved along and handed each one a bag. "Wow! This is amazing! What are we celebrating?" Blaze asked. "Wellll, you've gotta dig in to see!" I told them. Each one shrugged and opened up the bags and dug inside. A minute later I saw their shocked faces. "Cream... Cream!" Amy began. I began giggling. Rouge's eyes were bugging out of her head when she pulled out her item. Blaze covered her mouth and looked at me in shock.

Each of them had my sonogram picture along with one baby item. Rouge put the picture closer to her face and just gasped. I wasn't sure if they were surprised or just glued to the pictures. But when they finally snapped out of it, they all came over and hugged me carefully. "Oh Cream this is so exciting! I can't wait to see if it's a boy or a girl!" Amy cheered. I laughed after covering my smile with my hand. "Oi, what are you laughing about!" Blaze smirked. "I'm not just having one," I said.

They gave me the same look as before. I put all the pictures I gave them and put them close together. "Kai and I are having triplets!" I smiled. Rouge fainted and fell back. Blaze and Amy rolled their eyes having to pick her up. "Oh Cream! That's amazing! We're so happy for you! Oh my gosh! WHEN?!" Blaze asked me. "They're all expected in two and half months! Kai and I are both really nervous! But excited! We won't find out the genders until I'm a month in!" I told them. "Well hun if you need us, we're there!" Rouge told me after she recovered.

"Does anyone else know? I mean we'll keep it a secret if we need to but this is just so exciting!" Blaze exclaimed. "Kai told me he was going to tell Vector and Espio, then he was going over to tell some of the other guys. But I was going to tell Shadow. Then together we'd tell Charmy and Tails!" I replied. I explained. "I have to admit, this is going to be a big leap for the two of you! But we reassure you, we'll be there for you!" Rouge told me. "Oh,  I wouldn't want to be a bother! You probably already had your hands full with your own kids!" I said.

All of them laughed. "Please! Sure we had our hands full, but if anyone did, it's Espio and Vector! Although I doubt they can compete with triplets now!" Amy replied. "Besides, you're going to need help. We didn't know what we were doing, I'm sure you don't either." Blaze added. I sighed and nodded my head. "You aren't wrong! I just... I want to be a good mother. And a good wife. I don't know how I'm gonna manage that."

"Let's be real, you're Cream the Rabbit. You have nothing to worry about." Rouge said. I smiled and we got up to hug each other.

Later in the afternoon, I met Shadow at a park. I was a little nervous to tell him such news about all of this but how could I deny him the right to know about his grandchildren? So here I am! I saw him on a picnic bench. "Dad!" I shouted, trying to get his attention. He looked up and waved at me. We gave each other a hug. Afterward, I sat down and put a completely different bag on the table. "It's been way too long. Are you doing alright?" he asked. "Oh dad, I'm doing great! In fact, I was so happy when you said you could make it!" I said.

"Cream, I'll always show up! Now, what's got you bubbly today?" he asked me, noticing my smile. I pushed over the bag and he looked at me curiously. "What's the occasion?" he questioned. I shrugged and waited. He rolled his eyes and dug into the bag. He pulled out a onesie that said I love you grandpa! Another one he pulled out said Awesome like my pawpaw! The last one said, Chaos coming to my grandpa! Shadow looked at me briefly digging back into the bag.

He pulled out the sonogram photo. Each one of the babies was in eye view. His eyes widened. "Cream... Is this real?" he asked stunned. I hid my smile with my hand and then used the other to motion to my stomach. I beamed. "Oh my god... Cream this is amazing!" he cheered and stood up to hug me. "I don't know if you noticed but, there are three of those onesies," I said. "You're going to have your hands full with three grandkids!" I told him. He looked at the sonogram once more. "I know. I'm ready for it though!" he said. "The question is, are you ready?"

"Oh gosh! I don't even know what I'm doing! Dad what if I mess up?" I said. He rolled his eyes and sat next to me. "When you came into my life, I didn't have a clue what I was doing either. But I knew I had to figure it out quickly because you needed me and couldn't wait. These kids are gonna be here before you know it and they're going to need you and Kai. I know you can do it. You've always had a thing for kids." he reassured me. I smiled and we sat there for a few more minutes talking.

The only ones I have to tell now were Charmy and Tails.
