At Last- Gender Reveal!

Tails' P.O.V

All three of us crashed into a car below. Whoever was driving began swerving around making us scream in panic. The others inside were also screaming as we kept moving forward. Eventually, the car came to a sudden stop as all three of us were thrown off the car. Thankfully, I got lucky and landed on the grass. Sonic rolled over to one side and tried catching his breath. Knuckles slammed into a tree before falling on his back dazed. "You good?" I shouted to them. "I'm fine!" Sonic shouted. "Just gimme a minute!" Knuckles gasped, with the balloons still in his hand.

The car was still behind us as it stopped. "What the heck you guys!" the voice shouted. I shook my head out. Knuckles helped Sonic up the ground before we looked back. "Oh! Vector, you good?" I asked curiously. "Now that you're off my car, yes! What were you doing?!" 

Before I could open my mouth, Knuckles lifted his hand with the balloons still holding onto the string. "We got them back!" he said, but he was still dazed. They flashed me confused looks. I shook my head in response. Sonic shook his head out and looked up at us. "All good here!" he replied, giving them a thumbs up. "Why were you driving that fast, to begin with?" I asked. 

Both Espio and Vector looked over at Silver who looked nervous. "W-Well! I may or may not have accidentally given the cake over to some girls we bumped into!" he explained, his face turning red from embarrassment. I gave him a look as Sonic groaned, hiding his face. "Silver! Blaze is gonna kill you if she finds out that you lost it!" I snapped. "Y-You don't think I don't know that!? That's why Vector was driving so fast! We were trying to catch up to-" he explained before trailing off.

He started staring at something so we looked behind us. A car pulled up in their own driveway that was a house right next to Cream's. "Oh my gosh. Hey!" Silver cried running over to the car along with Espio and Vector behind him. Sonic, Knuckles, and I stayed back for a minute. We watched them all have a small chat. Then the girls went to their trunk for a second. A couple of minutes later they were laughing right before the three came back with the cake in their hands.

"Okay! We got it back! Silver, you're banned from picking up cakes in the future!" Vector snapped. "I know I know!" Silver retorted. I helped my two friends off the ground before looking back. "You three still haven't explained why you were in the air like that." Espio noted. Both Sonic and I looked over at Knuckles with a look. He noticed and grumbled. "I got in a fight with a guy that doesn't know how to drive!" he said.

All of us started laughing. "It's not funny! He cut me off!" he added. "The only reason we were up in the sky was that when Tails and I tried to break up the fight, some of the balloons got out. The black ones went up into the sky so all three of us flew up to get them back!" Sonic explained. "Well, now that we have everything, we should probably head inside before the girls get on us." Espio said. "Good idea! Let's head inside!"

Cream's P.O.V

Kai and I sat on the couch together while everyone else was outside setting up for the party that we had. My kids kicked all around making me giggle while Kai placed his hands on me. He nuzzled me as we enjoyed this moment together. "As much as I am nervous, I'm very excited for our kids to come into the world..." he sighed. "I am too. Everything right now is so perfect! I just can't wait to see our family grow." I added, leaning into him.

Any moment now we were going to find out what genders our babies were. "What do you think they are?" I asked Kai. He put his hand on my bump. "I think, one is a boy, and the two are girls. What do you think?" I thought about it for a minute. "I think it's the reverse. But could you imagine having three boys or three girls?!" I asked him. He shook his head and chuckled. "I think we might go crazy!" he snickered, gently nipping my ear. I got annoyed and gently smacked him, trying to hide my smile.

"Oh don't you think I'm letting you off the hook that easily!" he teased, bringing me in tighter. I laughed feeling his love. "Kai stop!" I giggled, loosening his grip. He got worried and let go, his ears folding. "I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to! I should've been gentler! With you carrying three kids I need to be more careful and I can't afford-" he ranted. I rolled my eyes, kissing him. "I love you, Kai. Stop acting like you're a threat to me! I'm perfectly happy." He smiled, leaning in for another kiss. We sat there, loving in on each other.

My stomach growled out of hunger. "Ugh, of course, they're getting hungry! Do you think we could head out soon?" I asked him. He nodded and kissed my cheek. "Yes, I am ready to find out my kids' genders!" he said and helped me up to head outside. Together they headed outside where everyone was already waiting with the cake, snacks, and decorations set up for everything.

"Cream! You ready for this?!" Rouge asked me excitedly. "We have everything all set up with the balloons and everything! All you two have to do now is pop them!" Blaze told us. Both of us went towards the middle where Knuckles held the balloons for us. I smiled hugging them. Just then I noticed that Tails, Sonic, and Knuckles had bruises all over them. "Oh my god! What happened to you guys?!" I cried. "D-Don't worry about it! We're all good!" 

I hesitated but Tails shoved the balloons in my face. I sighed and looked over to Kai as he held two. The balloons had white labels with babies 1, 2, and 3 labeled on them. Shadow handed me a pin and smiled. "Show us what we're having Cream!" he said. I nodded and both of us looked at the balloon. I popped the first one, pink powder flying all over the place. I began cheering with Kai bringing me in for a hug. Everyone else cheered seeing we were having a girl.

"Alright! Let's see the next one!" Amy insisted. I handed the pin to Kai this time and he held it carefully in his hand. Once he popped it, blue dust went all over his fur making him sneeze. I laughed and kissed his cheek as everyone proudly cheered again. "Can't wait to be there for my son." he whispered to me, kissing my cheek. Now there was just one balloon left to pop. "Together?" I asked him. He nodded and we both held pins now. Staring it down we held the pins briefly before stabbing them into the balloon's plastic.

The last balloon had dust flying everywhere as blue powder fell on us. I cheered and leaped into Kai's arms. "I was right!" I squealed. He held me gently, getting down to kiss my bump. Shadow and Amy rushed to hug me along with the rest of my nieces and nephews who were very happy. After the celebration, we went to the table to eat cake. I walked over with Rouge to help serve the cake. Although, something was off about it.

It looked very- interesting. "Uh, Silver, why is the cake look like it went through the dryer?" Rouge asked. He walked over and groaned. "I- had a lot go down while getting it over here." I smiled warmly as Rouge looked at him annoyed. Eventually, we all had our cake.

I sat next to my wonderful husband as he put his muscular arm around my waist. "I'm ready for our kids Cream. I'm ready for this new chapter. I love you." I leaned against him, holding my bump. "I love you too Kai. I'm excited too."
