Repugnant

"N-No, I'm not!" I try to make my words sound true, like I meant them. But even I could hear the lie within them. Jimin chuckles, his smile appears and my heart is singing. "Just one date beautiful, that's all I'm asking. Is that really so much to ask?" He pouts and his eyebrows furrow together in the cutest fashion. My heart was screaming his name. It only wanted him.

"I-If I say I'll think about it, will you leave me alone?" I question him softly; he grins and lifts my hand to his lips. He ever so lightly presses his perfect lips to the back of my hand. "Maybe." My heart was on a whole ass roller coaster right now. I wanted to scream, his warm lips against my skin was causing my clear thoughts to become fuzzy and detached.

"Okay! I'll think about it." I practically yell at him, yanking my hand away and holding it to my chest. Jimin smirks and laughs. He seemed so sweet and innocent when he laughed. But something told me he could be far from that.

Jimin grabs a pad of sticky notes from my desk along with a pen. He writes down his number and throws it back onto my desk. "There's my number. Don't think about it too long or I'll have to make another visit." He warns me and winks before leaving my office. I could feel sweat starting to roll down my neck. "See you soon beautiful." His sweet voice says to me before he steps on the elevator and disappears behind the shutting doors.

I grab my chest and try to catch my breath. What did he just do to me? I've never felt this way about any human being. Jimin was much like the apple on tree that Eve couldn't resist. He was deliciously tempting, and I wanted to sink my teeth into him and just let my lucid thoughts flow away. But that wasn't me, I couldn't let that happen. I had to be stronger than that.

What was happening to me? This isn't like me at all.

The elevator dings and opens and I frantically try to see who it is. Taehyung steps out and sees me hunkered over. He runs over to me and rubs my back tenderly. "What's wrong?" I shake my head and try to steady for breathing. "Nothing." I lie to him, and he doesn't believe it one bit. His eyes give that away.

Taehyung huffs and crosses his arms. "Don't lie to me, I know when you're lying." I let out an aggravated sigh and rub my forehead roughly. "I got asked on a date by Dr. Jeon's assistant." Taehyung raises an eyebrow at my statement. "He had that effect on you? You're completely breathless!" I nod to his words. He did have that effect on me.

Looking back at the elevator, Taehyung realizes something. "You mean that handsome guy I passed coming back up here?" I nod again. Handsome wasn't a strong enough word for Jimin. He was otherworldly. Someone that beautiful shouldn't exist.

"Yes, that's him." Taehyung chuckles and then rubs my back again. "You turned him down I take it?" I stand up straight and curl my hair back and around my ear. "Yes, of course." I clear my throat and try to get a hold of myself.

As I walk back to my desk and sit down, I can see Taehyung staring at the note that contains Jimin's number. I grab it quickly and throw it into a drawer. "Let's get going, you've got to approve that commercial." Taehyung reminds me and I nod. Oh yes, that. I completely forgot who I was and where I was. No man should hold that kind of power over me.

My heart and my body were begging for him, but my brain remained the same. Except when he got close to me. Then my resolve faltered, collapsing like a poorly built house of cards.

I stand up and Taehyung and I walk out of my office and take the elevator to the advertising floor.

Once we step off, my lead advertisement consultant walks up to me. "Ms. Luna, good to see you as always. Please follow me." I walk behind a tall, dark, and handsome man. Namjoon has the most obvious crush on me. He is gorgeous but I could never date an employee. Plus I can't have him spreading the fact that I look like Freddy Krueger around the office.

Namjoon's hand lightly rests against my lower back as he guides me inside his office. "You can wait outside." He bluntly tells Taehyung and he just blinks at Namjoon's words. "No, come in Tae." I correct him and my best friend smiles, taking a seat beside me.

Pulling down the projector screen, Namjoon purposely tries to flex and show off his biceps. I was happy to indulge in his body, but it was pointless for him to act like that. We could never be anything other than boss and subordinate.

Tapping his spacebar, the advertisement plays. There's a close up of Lisa's full lips beautifully coated in my lipstick. The whole video is in slow motion, her playfully smiling and laughing. She looked amazing in my makeup. The staff did an incredible job.

"Luna Cosmetics, priceless beauty without harsh ingredients. Beauty that doesn't compromise with quality and price. Look your absolute best while rewinding the clock with our anti-aging collagen in each product."

A sultry voice speaks the words and I smile to myself. It was perfect, I clap my hands together and Namjoon grins. His dimples showing. "Wonderful Namjoon! I think it's perfect, no editing is needed." He smiles wider, happy with my praise. "Thank you Ms. Luna. I tried extra hard, just for you though." He flirts with me but I'm unfazed. His charm doesn't dismantle me like my previous encounter.

Taehyung looks at us and rubs his chin. I look at him confused for a minute, but Namjoon brings me back into the moment. "Okay! I'll send it out and it'll air within a few days!" I smile brightly at him. "Alright! Thanks again Namjoon, great work!"
