I was feeling extremely baffled when Jaemin ran off but it looked like it was urgent which is why I decided not to question it. However, as soon as the road was clear, I didn't hesitate to run after him, seeing his faint figure ahead.
I got worried when I saw him go into an alley, making me furrow my eyebrows and run even faster than before. I was breathing heavily when I stopped running but when I saw what was in front of me, I took the inspiration to continue walking.
"Jaemin," I call out, a few steps away from him and the guy who was in his arms.
"Mark-Hyung," he says, his eyes teary, I noticed, when he turned to look at me. "Please, help," he basically pleads, leading me to get closer, taking Jeno. I put one of his arms around my neck while I put mine on his waist.
"What happened?" I question, furrowing my eyebrows as I look the boy up and down.
Jaemin
"I- I don't know," I answer pathetically as I feel more tears well up in my eyes.
Gosh, it felt horrible to see Jeno in that state. I've seen him with wounds on his face all the time at school but seeing him so weak had never happened.
"Jaemin, relax, okay?" Mark-Hyung says calmly and I turn to look into his eyes. They were soft and filled with assurance which made me nod after a couple of seconds. It calmed me a little. "We'll go to a convenience store and get him some medicine. He'll be okay, there's nothing to worry about," he smiles slightly and I nod once again before he walks away, making me trail behind him.
I take a deep breath to calm myself, beginning to follow after.

We soon arrive at the convenience store. Mark-Hyung had already bought some ointment to apply and Jeno looked a little better after taking a pill after he had refused to go to the hospital several times. The Canadian was inside the store again, buying us some drinks while I try to get Jeno to let me apply for the medicine on his face.
After a while, he gives in and I smile in victory. I put some of the medicine on my finger, leaning closer to his face, first going to the wound on his eyebrow.
"I remember you," the other boy speaks suddenly after a minute or so. I look down to make eye contact with him before I focus again with a small smile on my face. I simply hum. "You didn't have to help me. You shouldn't be helping me," he says blankly, looking a bit distant.
I smile, I did have to or maybe it was just my heart saying that.
"I'm sorry for not being heartless," I state with a grin as I move to the wound on his eyebrow.
Jeno
"I'm sorry for pushing you that time," I say as it only felt like it was the right thing to do. He saved me, after all. "My ex said that you did it on purpose and that I should get payback for it," I explain, beginning to get mad at the simple mention of her.
"So, you were manipulated?" He questions hesitantly, being careful with his words, his hand stopping movement for a second before resuming.
"I guess you could say that," I answered coldly. "I still shouldn't have done that. I only beat up people that deserve it and clearly, you're innocent," I state.
His hand moves to the cut on my lip and my eyes follow his hand before they go up to his eyes which were looking down at my lips. He was completely focused as his hand moved tenderly, careful so as to not hurt me. When he was done, his eyes go to mine, making eye contact and I couldn't help but think that he was looking at me so fondly. Maybe after breaking up, I began to be delirious but it's what I could see and what it felt like.
"What's your name?" I ask, our faces still only a couple of inches away.
He smiles, "Jaemin, Na Jaemin." Within myself, I deemed his smile the prettiest I've seen.

As I look out the wide window, something inside of me twisted as I saw the way Jaemin smiled at Lee Jeno. Maybe it was the fact that I hate Jeno or the fact that Jaemin was smiling like that at someone, I didn't know. Or perhaps the fact that he was smiling at him so fondly as if he was the only one on Earth.
I sigh and push the door open after a while. Jaemin looks up to smile at me and I can't help but feel the same pain at the realization that it is the same smile he gave Jeno. I quickly shrug it off, harshly throwing Jeno his drink while I handed Jaemin his.
"They got you good," I say eyeing him as I take a sip of my drink.
"You should see the other guys," he smirks, playing with the bottle in his hand.
"Were they also fainting on random people?" I question sarcastically.
"No, I left them knocked out on the ground though," he replies with a wider, smugger grin which simply made me roll my eyes.
"Can we leave now?" I turn to ask Jaemin after seeing the time which was already past nine.
The younger gasps, widening his eyes. "Shit," he mumbles. "I'm so sorry Mark-Hyung, for ruining our date."
I smile fondly at him, "You didn't ruin anything, it's great that you have a good heart. You just wanted to help a schoolmate," I shrug glancing at the boy in front of us who was seemingly paying close attention to our conversation. "This just leaves me with the excuse to ask you for a second one, right?" I smirk upon seeing under the light of the store how he turned red.
He nods before looking at the third guy. "Can... can we drop Jeno home first? He's not in the state to go home alone," he says with innocent eyes which I got lost in, making me give in.
I clear my throat, turning to look at the other with a cold expression, "Do you want us to drop you off?"
Jeno smirks, nodding his head. "Oh, I would love that."
I scoff, asshole.
