Author's POV:
Ashi was advised to get a proper check-up at the hospital. Without a second thought, Siddharth took responsibility and rushed her there.
Meanwhile, back in the lecture hall, Avneet walked in, her steps heavy, her heart heavier. Her eyes searched for the only comfort she knew—Rohan. He was sitting silently, scrolling his phone. As soon as he saw her, concern replaced the calm on his face.
She walked up to him and whispered, “Where did everything go wrong, Ro?”
His eyes widened at the sheer pain in her voice. Without wasting another second, he pulled her into a warm hug, gently caressing her arms. “Even if the whole world doesn’t believe you... I always will,” he murmured.
That was it. The dam she had been holding back broke, and Avneet finally let herself cry. She never wanted to break down, but this pain was too much to bear alone. She sobbed quietly into Rohan’s shoulder until she couldn’t anymore. Then, pulling away, she wiped her tears and smiled faintly, “Thanks, Ro.”
Rohan exhaled deeply. “Did you get a chance to explain anything to Sid?”
Avneet shook her head. “He was too busy talking to the nurse... but something happened. Something weird.”
Rohan tilted his head, alert. “What happened?”
“She whispered something before I left. Ashi. She said... ‘Game. Started.’”
Rohan’s eyes widened. “Bro... we need to tell Sid. Whatever she's planning, it's gonna be big.”
“I can feel it too,” Avneet said quietly.
Rohan grabbed her hand with sudden urgency. “Let’s go.”
“What? Where?” she asked, confused by his sudden rush.
“Hospital. Now.”
Avneet didn’t protest. She packed up her things as did Rohan, and the two left college early. On their way, Rohan called Siddharth to get the hospital address.

They arrived and walked straight to the reception. After getting the room number, they made their way down the quiet corridor. Rohan knocked on the door. Siddharth opened it—and his eyes fell on her before Rohan.
Rohan cleared his throat. “You need to listen to something.”
Siddharth’s tone was cold. “What now?”
“Just spare a few minutes. Come outside.”
Siddharth sighed but stepped out. They walked to the emergency exit, a quiet place away from the rush.
Rohan gestured between them. “Talk.”
He left, heading back toward Ashi’s room—just in case she tried to pull something again.

Avneet’s POV:
I looked at Siddharth, his face unreadable. My heart pounded in my ears. “Sid… I didn’t push her. I swear. I don’t even know what she told you, but I would never do something like that.”
His eyes narrowed, but he didn’t interrupt.
“She threatened me again... told me to stay away from you. Right before she hurt herself.”
He raised a brow. “Again? What do you mean, again?”
I sighed. “I figured you didn’t know. You’re completely clueless.”
