Chapter 5 ~ Meeting the Vanishing Cat

Third Person POV:

A smile creeps behind Kai. He looks around feeling watched. He then, runs again. The smile disappears and follows Kai. Somehow invisible. Kai kept running and running. Turning head he didn't realize a tree stem popping out of the ground and tripped over it.

"Ah!-", Kai yells as he falls, "Shoot!" He stands and starts to run again but falls instantly. "Ow! What?", he looks at his leg to see a big bruise on his right leg and was barely able to move it. He cursed himself for not paying attention. The laugh comes again, this time seeing on a branch of, the same tree the stem was apart of, was the smile he never noticed. Kai gasped in confusion.

What?! How is there only a mouth there?!, he thought.

The smile then had eyes above it. Kai widened his eyes as he recognized them as the same colors when the Mad Hatter and the March Heir we're being controlled! He finally had the courage to talk to this, somehow, floating face. "Who are you?! Why are you following me?!", acting brave when inside he's creeped out about the face with no head or the rest of the body. The face just laughs. Then the body of the face appears. A man.. around 3 years older than Kai? With a black suit aligned different shades of purple, black pants, fancy black shoes, his hair goes from a light purple to dark purple to the darkest purple he will ever seen. Even darker than an Oni's eye. He even had a hat similar to the Mad Hatter, except had a bow on it, didn't have a whole on the top, but also the size was smaller and was leaning to the left side of his head.

The mysterious man laughs again, "I am known as Cheshire Cat..." "Chess-shire Cat...?", Kai tried to repeat his name. He looks over the man once more, not understanding why he was named 'Cheshire Cat' when he sees no cat ears or tail. He wonders if he can not only turn his whole body invisible but can also hide his cat parts of him. Otherwise why would he be named Cheshire Cat.

"Mhm~", the so called 'Cheshire Cat' says to him, "Cheshire Cat... And why I am following you? Well it's because we never had visitors from another world before. I am just 'interested' in you to see how you are."

Kai glares. I just met this guy and I already have the urge to punch him..., he thought to himself.

"So why didn't you say so earlier then?", he asks the man. "Well what would be fun about that?~", Kai didn't miss the quick glow from his eyes when he mentioned 'fun'. He wanted to just walk away or attack him or something! But his body wouldn't move. Curiosity got the best of him telling his mind to tell his body to stay so he could know what the cat-man was talking about. On the other hand, he felt really creeped out about this guy. Just giving him a hungry stare. "What do you mean by 'fun'?", Kai finally managed to ask. The man chuckles this time. He jumps off the tree in front of Kai who was still sitting on the ground. Cheshire Cat then, takes a hand out for Kai to grab. Kai looks at him in confusion, "Why don't we see for ourselves...?"

Kai's eyes widen as his eyes change from a glowing amber to the same faded purple as the man. Kai lends him his hand and stands.

What the heck is going on?! Stop moving!! Don't trust him!! Stop!!, the real Kai was yelling in his mind trying to take back control of his body again. Cheshire Cat holds Kai. His right hand on Kai's right hand. His left on his waist. Kai looking tired and completely in the cat-man's control. He lets go of Kai's hand and picks him up bridal style. Let me go you bastard!! Put me down!!, Kai yells again. Cheshire begins to walk deeper into the forest into an unknown destination. As the controlled Kai has his arms wrapped around his neck so he wouldn't fall out of his arms.

WHY DO PEOPLE HAVE TO CARRY ME SO MANY TIMES?!?! I MAY BE IN A DRESS BUT THAT MEANS NOTHING YOU STUPID UGLY CAT MAN!!!! WHERE ARE YOU EVEN TAKING ME?!?! STOP CONTROLLING ME!!! OR ELSE I'M GONNA KICK YOUR FACE!! RIGHT HERE AND NOW!!
