Kuroo attempted to put his phone in his pocket, only to be stopped by him receiving a call. He held his phone up to see who was calling.
"Akari. Of course."
He quickly hit the answer button, his older sister's face soon filling the screen.
"Hi Tetsu!"
"Hey 'Kari what's up?"
"Just wanted to check in on my little bro! What're you doing?"
"Packing."
"For what?"
"There's a volleyball training camp, the whole team will be there, plus a few other teams."
"Sounds fun!"
"Yeah."
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing."
"You look upset, tell me."
Kuroo sighed, looking away from the phone. "I...there's this one guy."
"Oh?"
"He's on the Karasuno team, their number ten." Kuroo paused for a moment. "He and Kenma ran into each other one time when Kenma got lost. Then they ended up seeing each other again at a game. They talk a lot and I just...I-"
"You're jealous? You think Kenma likes him?"
"....yeah."
"Come on, Tetsu. You've liked Kenma since you were, what? Eight? There's no way you can give up now all because you think Kenma has a crush on someone."
"I know, but-"
"What exactly makes you think Kenma has a crush on him? It can't just be the fact that they talk, right? You can't be jealous all because Kenma made a new friend, there has to be more to it."
"Well I-"
"Tetsu, don't tell me you actually just assumed he had a crush just because he started talking to this boy often. There's a difference between Kenma liking this boy as a friend, and actually having a crush on him. Besides, Kenma doesn't have many other friends, right? I mean, of course there's the volleyball team, but does he really consider them as friends?"
"I guess you're right."
"Of course I'm right. I am the older sibling after all. Plus I'm way more experienced when it comes to love than you are."
"Didn't your boyfriend dump you?"
"H-hey! He didn't dump me! I dumped him!"
"Yeah, sure." Kuroo grinned.
"Whatever, loser. If that's how you're gonna be, then don't bother coming to me for love advice."
"Wait no! You're the only one I can trust with this!"
"That's what I thought. Now go pack for your training camp thing. And don't worry too much about this boy, I'm sure Kenma only sees him as a friend."
"Okay, 'Kari."
