"So, Kuroo." A tall guy, his white and black hair sticking up in messy spikes, spoke.

"What do you want, Bokuto?"

"How come you're not dating anyone?"

"Huh?"

"Well, Akaashi and I are dating. But you're not dating anyone?"

"I..."

"Wow, that's lame. How could you not date anyone? Guess I'm just better than you."

"Th-that's not true! I-I am dating someone!"

"Oh? Who?"

"You don't need to know."

"Well then I'll just keep bragging about how much better I am until I get to meet this 'someone'."

"What if they're not here?"

"Then call them to prove it. Right now."

"I...can't."

"Why? 'Cause they don't exist?"

"N-no! Just because....fine! I'll let you meet them. Just shut up."

"I'll believe you when I see them."

"Bokuto-san, please don't be rude to Kuroo-san."

"Sorry, 'Ghaashi."

Akaashi pat Bokuto's head with a soft smile, "It's alright, Bokuto-san."

Kuroo rolled his eyes and walked away. "Damn it," he muttered, "why would I do that?"

He looked around the gym, thinking of what to do. "What if I fake date? That could work. But who would agree to..." his eyes landed on a certain boy with pudding-colored hair.

Before a second thought, he rushed over to his childhood friend. "Kenma, I need you to help me get out of a stupid situation."

"No."

"Please!"

Kenma sighed, "what did you do this time?"

"I may or may not have told Bokuto I was dating someone."

"I need more detail than that, Kuro."

"Okay so Bokuto and Akaashi are dating. Bokuto wouldn't shut up about me being single, so I told him I was dating someone and now he wants to meet them."

"And how exactly am I supposed to help you?"

"I need you to pretend to be my boyfriend."

Kenma looked down, his hair covering his red face. "What makes you think I'd agree to that?"

"Please, Kenma! We've been best friends since we were little, it would work perfectly!"

"How does that mean it would work?"

"We know like everything about each other! It'll only be until we go home, please?"

"And why do I need to be brought into your mess?"

"Please?"

"I don't think it will work."

"Okay what if I buy stuff for you?"

"No."

"I'll buy you an apple pie!"

"Still no."

"What about...those three games you've been wanting. The ones you don't have enough money for. I'll buy all three of them and an apple pie!"

Kenma stared at his feet for a moment, everything told him not to agree, but he knew that those games will probably be sold out when he finally gets enough money for them. What's the worst that can happen anyway? Kuroo wasn't wrong when he said that they know almost everything about each other. The worst that could happen is Kuroo finds out how Kenma feels, but as long as Kenma doesn't do anything stupid, Kuroo won't know, right?

"Fine."

Kuroo's face lit up with excitement and he pulled Kenma into a tight hug. "Thank you, Kenma! I promise I will buy those for you!"

"I still think it's stupid." Kenma spoke quietly, trying to push Kuroo away from him.

"I know, but at least you're helping me now!"
