~10 years later~

"Kitten, I'm home!"

"Welcome home, Kuro!" Kenma shouted from the bedroom.

Kuroo poked his head into the room to see Kenma sitting at his desk, a game still on his computer screen, on the title screen.

"We're you just live?"

"Yeah, 5 damn hours. Playing this game non stop. It's over now, thankfully."

"Sounds fun."

"I'm exhausted."

Kuroo laughed, "well too bad for you, I made plans."

"For what?"

"You'll find out. Get ready."

"Do I have to wear fancy clothes?"

"No, just something decent."

"Are sweatpants and a hoodie fine?"

"Put more effort into it than that, Kenma."

"Fine." Kenma began turning off his computer while Kuroo went into the closet and began looking through clothes.

"Here, kitten." He handed Kenma a black long sleeve shirt and jeans.

Kenma gave him an annoyed look, "I could've gotten clothes for myself, you know."

"Too bad, go change. We're leaving soon."

"Fine."

Kenma changed quickly, then sat on the couch in the living room to wait for Kuroo. Kenma didn't bother to fix his hair, which was in a messy bun.

"Alright, you ready?" Kuroo asked, walking into the living room, wearing a grey t-shirt and jeans.

"Yeah. Where are we going?"

"It's a surprise."

Kenma sighed as he stood up. Kuroo held the door open for him.

The drive wasn't very long, but Kenma still enjoyed it. He loved listening to Kuroo sing along to the music. Though, he gets mad when Kuroo gets distracted while he's driving.

They arrived at a park. It was mostly open grass, with a small path around it. There was also a small pond with a fountain in the center.

"Alright, get out and close your eyes." Kuroo said, shutting off the car.

Kenma stared at him for a moment before doing as he was told.

He stood outside the car for a minute, before hearing the trunk being slammed shut.

"Okay, give me your hand. And keep your eyes closed."

Kenma put his hand out, immediately feeling Kuroo grab it. "Let's go."

They walked slowly, Kuroo was careful not to make Kenma fall. After only a few minutes, they stopped.

"Okay, stay here and keep your eyes shut!"

"You don't have to keep telling me, Kuro."

Kenma wondered what exactly Kuroo could be doing. Why would Kuroo bring him here? What did he plan?

"Okay, you can open your eyes now."

Kenma slowly opened his eyes, only to be met with seeing Kuroo down on one knee in front of him, holding out a small box with a ring in it.

Kenma's eyes widened as he became filled with excitement.

"Kozume Kenma, will you marry me?"

Kenma's eyes filled with tears, he felt like he might explode, "Yes! Yes, of course I will marry you, Tetsurou!"

Kuroo quickly stood up, pulling Kenma into the tightest hug he could possibly give. Once they broke apart, Kuroo grabbed Kenma's hand and gently slid the ring onto his finger.

They smiled at each other with their biggest, brightest smiles. Kuroo wrapped his arms around Kenma, pulling him into a kiss.

"I love you so much, Ken."

"I love you too, Kuro."

The two of them laid down on a blanket that Kuroo had placed on the ground next to them. They watched the clouds, their hands still intertwined.

"I don't know how I ever got lucky enough to be with you." Kuroo whispered to himself.

"I could never dream of anyone else I'd want to spend the rest of my life with." Kenma smiled.
