"God you are so selfish!" He shouted at her making her flinch, "I can't do anything right when it comes to you! And you wonder why I fucking cheated on you, you stupid cow! Maybe if you weren't so goddamn selfish you could keep a fucking man! You wonder why every man has cheated and left you? Because you are selfish and ungrateful. You got pissed when I cheated on you, yet here you are with two men! Well guess what slut? No matter how many men you sleep with they will eventually get tired of your shit and leave you as well. You will end up alone no matter what you do because no one wants to put up with your ungrateful ass. Here, I'm done with you," He shoved a packet into her chest and stormed away.

Amy took a deep breath and blinked back tears, "I'm sorry," She whispered as she wiped a tear and cleared her throat. "I'm sorry you had to see that. I promise it won't affect my shifts, I'll figure something out North, I promise."

"Don't worry about it," North shook his head. "Are you okay?"

"I need to go check on my daughter, excuse me," She stepped away from him and cleared her throat. She set the packet down on the table and headed to her room, "Hey my beautiful miracle, did you have fun with your father?" she asked as she sat beside her daughter on her bed.

"No," Iris shook her head. "Sorry Mommy."

"What are you sorry for Baby?" She asked sitting up a little more so she look at her daughter confused.

"He mad me," she whispered. "He yell lot."

"I'm sorry Baby Girl," Amy whispered as she kissed the top of her head. "I'm sorry I made you go with him. I really thought you two would have fun together."

"He say I no call him Daddy, Mommy," She pouted and Amy sighed.

"I'm sorry about that Baby Girl," She spoke softly. "He just doesn't know what he is missing by not spending time with you. I promise he will regret it one day."

"I find new daddy?" Iris asked softly and Amy smiled softly.

"Maybe one day," She kissed her forehead. "Hey are you hungry Baby Girl?"

"Yeah," Iris smiled and Amy hugged her.

"Come on, let's see what Mommy can find," She picked her up and carried her into the kitchen. "What would you like Iris?"

"No what Father gibe me," Iris shook her head and Amy turned to look at her confused.

"What did your father try to give you Iris?" Amy asked trying to remain calm.

"Slimy peabut bubber," Iris shook her head and Amy softly gasped.

"Iris, you didn't eat it did you Baby Girl?" She asked kneeling down in front of her daughter. "Iris, did you eat the peanut butter?"

"No Mommy," Iris shook her head and Amy's smile lit up the room. North and Lucian looked at each other intrigued. "I memer you say no eat peabut bubber. I no eat it. Father got mad me Mommy."

"I'm sorry Iris but I think he forgot you are allergic," Amy kissed Iris' hands. "I'm so glad you remembered and didn't eat it Baby Girl, you know what? I think this calls for ice cream for being such a big girl and remembering such an important thing. Will you go potty and wash your hands and I'll go ask my friends to borrow their car since Mommy's is being silly, please?"

"Otay Mommy," Iris beamed and rushed to Amy's room.

Amy took a deep breath and ran her fingers through her hair before sighing. "Call Brandon and go get her car seat, Lucian," North said as he tried to reign in his anger.

"Mommy," Iris started crying and Amy rushed to her daughter instantly. "Mommy, troat hurts."

"Open up, Baby," Amy said grabbing her phone and turning on the flashlight, "Let Mommy see."

"Head hurt Mommy," Iris cried, "I pomis I no eat peabut bubber I pomis."

"I know Baby, I know," Amy pulled her into her arms, "Let's see if Mommy has some medicine to help you feel better, okay?"

"Get in the car Amy and hold her," North said grabbing his keys, "I'll take you to our brother, he's a doctor and he's working tonight at the hospital."

"I'll call him so he will be waiting for us," Lucian said grabbing his phone.

"Come on Baby Girl," Amy smiled softly at her daughter, "let's go see the doctor."

"Otay Mommy," She whimpered as she clung to Amy.

"Where's your Grumpy Bear and Lotsa Heart Elephant Iris?" Amy asked as she searched through her daughter's bag that she dropped on the couch when she came in.

"He trow way," Iris whimpered, "Say I too big stuffies."

Amy sighed and rubbed her daughter's back, "I'm so sorry Care Bear, I'll try and find you new ones when I can, okay? You are not too big for stuffies, I promise. Will your Care Bear blankie and Tigger and Eeyore work for now?"

"Otay Mommy," Iris whimpered and Amy headed to the other room then emerged with her daughter wrapped in a Care Bear blanket and holding the two stuff animals.

"Come on Sweet Pea," North smiled at her softly. "Let's get you all better."
