Amy woke up and realized she was in bed with Iris. There was a note on the nightstand so she opened it, I had to go take care of some things at the salons but I will be back soon. Text when you read this, so I know you are okay. Love Your Meanie.

She grabbed her phone and pulled up the message for Gabe. Morning Meanie.

Morning Trouble. Everyone is at work but I am finishing up. I will be home soon.

Never would have thought it would fucking be North bringing you to me but for once I'm so fucking glad you were working for him during that stupid ass shift. The door opened and she looked up to see North standing there. She held her arms open and he gently picked her up. "I got her Gabe. See you soon." He put his phone in his pocket and carried her to the living room. "He'll be home soon Baby."

"North," She whispered as she breathed in his scent tightening her hold around his neck and waist.

"I'm here Baby," He said as he carried her into the kitchen, "Let's try and get you to eat something. Do you want pancakes?" She shook her head. "Eggs?" She shrugged. "Okay, let's try some eggs, do you want messy or scrambled?"

"Mommy me messy," Iris smiled as she came into the kitchen smiling. "Pinked milk peas."

"Of course Sweet Pea," North smiled, "Sit right here Baby," He said gently setting her in the chair then lifted Iris to sit next to her. He had to admit he was cherishing that she was clinging to him at the moment instead of Gabe. He wasn't necessarily jealous because he understood the childhood bond but at the same time he was loving that she was with him at the moment. "Do you girls want egg sandwiches or just the eggs?"

"Trouble will want a sandwich," Gabe said coming into the kitchen. "Morning Girls."

"Me Me!" Iris smiled and hugged him tightly while Amy looked at him in relief. He bent down and kissed her forehead then kissed Iris making her giggle. "Eat wif us?"

"Of course," Gabe smiled as he scooted her over so he could sit between them. "I'm sure North will too." North nodded and went back to making their requests. "What's the plan for today?"

"Pay wif Masks," Iris smiled as Max laid under her chair.

"That sounds like lots of fun," Gabe smiled as Max barked.

"I have to look for a lawyer," Amy mumbled as she played with the straw in her cup. "Pack up the house, find a new place to live, new job, so much to do," She groaned and started rubbing her temples. She sighed then smiled and kissed her daughter. "Have fun with Max Sweet Pea, Mommy has to go make some phone calls real quick, okay?"

Iris nodded and Amy headed to the bedrooms, "Where do you think you are going Baby?" North asked gently turning her to face him. "You haven't ate yet."

"I've lost my appetite, sorry," She sighed, "I've got a headache."

"You don't need to worry about those things," North shook his head, "Owen has already taken care of the legal paper stuff, we already packed up your place per Gabe's orders, you are staying with us and remember Owen said you are working for us, so everything is taken care of." She hugged him and he kissed the top of her head, "Come on, focus on one thing at a time, first things first eating some breakfast, okay?" She nodded and he led her back into the kitchen. Gabe looked at him and North nodded so Gabe let out a small sigh of relief then smiled as Iris held up her sandwich for him to take a bite out of. He took a small bite and her face lit up. Gabe and North looked at one another and nodded, it was moments like that, that made the hard times worth it.
