We were sat in the cart, heading back to the wall. The massive titan was dragging its body through the ground, creating fire and destruction around it. It's one of the ugliest titans I have ever seen.

Erwin approached us and we came to a stop.

"Everyone all right?"

"Hange's our only casualty." Levi replied. Hange laid on the cart with blood staining their right shoulder, they weren't in the best condition but it shouldn't take long for them to recover.

"Seems like nothing too serious." Erwin looked over at them. "Well done, everyone."

We all gave a small smile, Eren was extremely quiet and I could tell there was a lot on his mind. Aslan told me the backstory of his father and I assumed that Eren also found out from the guilty look on his face as well as how quick he was to give up.

"I've got a whole slew of things to report, but first.."

"What's that titan?" Erwin twisted his head to look at it.

It was double the size of the colossal and it looked like it was having trouble standing up, so it was crawling instead, setting the trees around it on fire as it travelled.

Levi explained, "It's Rod Reiss. I think we'll need your call on this, Commander." Rod Reiss was Historia's father from what I knew, and he was a royal asshole.

Erwin paused, glancing at Historia, "Regardless, we don't have time to stand here and chat." He turned his horse around. "Return to Wall Sina."

"You're going to let that big ass crawl up to the wall?"

"To Orvud District, actually. That's most likely where it's headed."

We started moving again, trying to beat it to the wall as fast as we could. I sat on the cart and stared at the cracks in the wood floor of the wagon. So much had happened, I only had a few hours with Aslan that I got appreciate before everything turned for the worst. To be honest I wish he put the fake act up for longer, I wanted to spend time with him, accepting he was alive was still so fresh when I also found out he was against me. How can someone lie like that?

Hange started speaking while still laying down, "Let's put this all together. Basically, Rod Reiss was after the founding titan, the titan power inside Eren. However, unless it's in someone with Reiss blood, you won't get its true potential. Though, even if a Reiss obtains the Founding Titan's power, they're controlled by the first kings will and refuse to liberate humanity from the titans."

They furrowed their eyebrows, "Eh? Well isn't that interesting. According to the first king, this is true peace? Now that's a weird way to look at it."

Eren broke his silence, "In other words.. we still have an option. If that titan eats me, Rod Reiss will return to a human. Which means it's still possible to have a true founding titan."

Mikasa glanced over with worry written all over her face. We all knew we weren't going to let that happen, there is no way we will watch Rod Reiss eat Eren just to get the founding's power.

"You can't.." She whispered.

"Seems that way. We could capture Rod Reiss once he becomes a human. Undo the first kings brainwashing. If we could do that, it might open a path to save humanity." Levi was saying the harsh truth. "So, Eren. Are you saying that you're full prepared to let that happen?"

"I am."

We all exchanged glances, he may be prepared but we aren't. Eren was still young and had loads left to live for, I've known him for years and I'm not ready to see him go.
