Just wanna say the new episode got me in tears when they all got drunk. Also Levi looked so hot in it and i now am so excited to write that part because oh my lawd.
A few days passed and not much had happened apart from a new weapon that Hange came up with called a thunder spear, they explained how it would be useful against the armoured titan since our blades were useless.
Me and Levi haven't spoken since Historia's coronation, we only saw each other when it involved our work or meetings. Hange also made weak attempts to get us to talk, but none of them worked. He seemed perfectly fine not being around me.
It wasn't just Levi who I distanced myself from, I also barely spoke to everyone else except Hange who refused to leave me alone. I was mostly keeping to myself and I didn't know why, if someone asked me what my reason was I'd be clueless.
I was preparing myself to go visit my father on the weekend. I had no idea what he was going to be like or look like, if he is dying I assume not good.
Sasha had stormed into my room this morning, demanding that I come out with her to the city to go shopping since we hadn't spoken in a while. I felt bad since she was my best friend, but I just needed the space for a bit.
Our first stop was at the markets which were as busy as ever.
"Mila look at that stall!" She pointed to a small stall on our right before dragging me over to it. Its display was full of jewellery, most of it was way too expensive though. They sold the prettiest necklaces, ranging in sizes and colours.
One caught my eye, it was a small pendant with a crystal in the middle which was green aventurine from what I could tell since it was a gorgeous shade of green, my favourite colour.
Sasha noticed how much I was admiring it, "That would suit you so much."
I smiled and shook my head, "Too expensive." Crystals were always something I had taken an interest in, but I could never afford them.
We continued to walk around, stopping every minute at each stall so Sasha could freak out at each one, wanting to buy every single thing she laid her eyes on.
Sasha always managed to cheer me up or distract me, I don't know how she does it, but her company has never not worked and I was so thankful to have her as a best friend. But I still hadn't told her about me and Levi, mostly because I don't know if there is anything between us and I wanted to confirm that before I mentioned it.
After walking through the market for another half an hour, we sat down at a bench for a food break. Sasha had bought a few bits and bobs whereas I didn't buy anything.
"I beat Connie today at chess, you should of seen his face!" Sasha blurted out while stuffing her face with pie.
"Really?? I'm very proud." I laughed and held out my hand for her to high five it. She grinned and smacked my hand as hard as she could.
Something was always new with those two, they were always happy and smiling with each other even though they argued every single day. They were the definition of each others halves, he was her other half and she was his.
"Mhm! He claimed that I was cheating." She threw her hands up dramatically.
I giggled and took a slice of the pie, digging into it as she continued explaining. It was nice seeing the town so peace for once without having to worry about the titans. They were still a threat, but we had it more under control now and we actually had a chance.
"We should be getting back soon, we've got training." I reminded Sasha who was still babbling on.
She nodded and we finished our food before beginning to walk back. It was a short walk, but doubled the length that it would normally be since we had to push through the crowds.
