The next morning I woke up early and hid Levi's present in my pocket. It was his birthday and I wanted to celebrate it with him.

I headed to the kitchen, making the best tea possible. The one thing he needed was to wake up to a perfect cup of tea. What a great start to his birthday.

Once I finished the tea, I carried the teapot to Levi's room and knocked on the door. It opened after a few seconds which didn't surprise me, Levi was always awake this early.

"Hey. I brought you some tea." I smiled.

He stepped to the side, letting me walk in. His hair was messy and he wore his grey shirt that hung perfectly against his body. I loved how he looked in the morning.

I walked in and placed the teapot on his desk as he shut the door behind me.

"You forgot a second cup." Levi pointed out, sitting down at his desk.

I shook my head and sat down too, pulling out his present from my pocket. "Happy birthday, Levi."

For a second his eyes lit up and he rolled his eyes with a small smile on his lips that he tried to hide, but I didn't miss it. He clicked his tongue and took the present, slowly unwrapping it.

I watched patiently, examining his reaction as he finally revealed what was inside. He raised his eyebrows and turned over the cup to look inside of it which was when the smile grew wider.

"A moon?"

I nodded. "Reminded me of the night we confessed. And you need a new cup."

His eyes met mine and he placed the cup back down, reaching his hands out for me. I smiled and stood up, walking in front of him to grab his hands. He spread his legs and pulled me towards him so I I was standing between them, snaking my arms around his neck.

I giggled as he rested his hands on my waist. "Do you like it?"

He stood up, placing his hand on my cheek. "It's perfect. Thank you, Mila."

My face flushed red and I leaned over to pour the tea into his cup and my own. I picked up the cup, holding it out for him to take.

He gripped onto it and took a sip, smirking at the taste. "Best one you have made."

I copied him and took a sip, admiring my work. It was the perfect amount of sweetness. We both smiled at each other as we drunk the tea, not wanting to stop; the taste was too good.

"Name something you want to do today. Anything. And we will do it. It's completely your choice." I finished my tea.

Levi paused before speaking, taking his time while thinking about what his answer would be. To be honest, anything we were going to do would be fun as long as I was with him. Even if he told me to just stay here in his room the entire day, that would be enough.

"I want you to take me somewhere special to you. My birthday will be spent learning about you and your life."

I frowned. "But it's your special day, it's about you, not me."

He crossed his arms. "You said it was my choice."

I glared and sighed, "Fine."

There wasn't a lot of places that were special to me since I spent a majority of my life in the underground. However, when I was a child and I was struggling, I would always run away to a certain place that no one knew about, so no one would find me there.

Me and Levi were getting nearer to the place and I could see the excitement hidden underneath his hard expression. It surprised me how much this excited him.
