"Wooohooo! We caught another!" I screamed in joy. These two titans we had caught looked promising and I was excited to start experimenting on them and name them too. Both were boys again so I would have to come up with brand new names which would perfectly suit them, that is extremely important.

The sounds of ODM gear approached us and from the speed I could tell it was Levi. I turned it to him and stretched my hand up to wave, has he gotten smaller?! He stopped next to me and put his blades back in their sheath as he looked around at my squad.

"Oi four-eyes, have you seen Ivory?" He returned his stare to me and Moblit. I frowned and shook my head, I wasn't worried about her capabilities but she also wasn't careful with her life. I examined Levis face and I could see a hint of worry hidden across it.

"What happened?"

He began pacing around, I had never seen him like this before. "My gear broke and she demanded that I take hers. I told her to come here but no one has seen her and clearly she didn't fucking make it."

My heart dropped, Mila was like my little sister and I wanted to be there to help her. Levi seemed distressed and I hoped that he didn't blame himself, she did what she was meant to do, but that doesn't mean its for the better if it results in her death.

Moblit rested his hand on my shoulder and I attempted a smile, but I couldn't hide the fact that I was extremely concerned about her safety. It's my fault, I convinced Erwin for this expedition to even be a thing because I wanted these two titans.

I coughed and adjusted my glasses, "I'm sure she is okay." It was obvious Levi didn't believe me and I don't blame him, I don't even believe myself.

"Sir! Over there!" Moblit pointed. Me and Levi spun our heads around to look and there beyond the buildings was Luca, Milas horse, but from this distance we could see no rider.

"It's just the horse. Mila isn't there." I whispered. This didn't confirm her death but it confirmed that she was in trouble since her horse made it, but not her.

"Wait, look closer." Moblit spoke again as the horse got nearer. With close inspection, I could see a hand and a green cape on the back of the horse. Before I could speak, Levi had already used his gear to fly over, damn shorty is fast. Still panicked, I followed him and as we neared the horse, it was clear that Mila was on the back, but she was covered in blood.

We reached the floor next to her and Levi pulled her off the horse, laying her on the floor below. Her state was horrible to see; blood dripped from her arms and legs and stained her clothes and hair. She was bleeding out and I could see that the cuts on her arms and legs were from a blade, so was she attacked?

Moblit came down with our medical supplies and Levi immediately took them from him and began wrapping the wounds to stop the blood, which covered him in her blood in the act but for once he didn't care.

"How did this happen.." I helped Levi make sure the bandages were tight.

"I fucked it." She coughed out while trying to let out a laugh. I flicked my eyes to hers to see she was conscious and clearly in pain. "Ah shit, everything hurts."

Levi put his hands on her shoulders and stopped her from sitting up. "Be quiet, explain later." She nodded and rested her head, yelping out every time we touched her arm. I made sure I was careful as I moved to her legs and wrapped them as tight as I could without hurting her even further.

I'm sick and tired of waking up in pain and not remembering what happened, but I guess that's my speciality. My eyes opened to a room I didn't recognise, but I soon realised I was in the infirmary and I could barely move.
