Before I could even react, Levi grabbed onto me, forcing us both to duck down and hook into the wall so we were safe. The colossal and armoured titan emerged from on top of the wall and it confirmed it all, Reiner and Bertholdt betrayed us, just like Annie.

Smoke spread everywhere and strong gusts of wind pushed us off the wall, making me thankful that I put on my gear. I knew it. I had a bad feeling and I was right, it wasn't over, in fact this might be the worst thing to happen yet.

I panicked when I caught sight of them grabbing Ymir who was still unconscious, and Eren. Pulling my blades out, I got ready to attack but Levi immediately put his arm in front of me, stopping me in my path.

"Don't."

As soon as Reiner jumped off with Eren, I ignored Levi and I climbed back on top of the wall, rage rushing through me. I was the type to act out of instinct and emotion, and there was so many emotions controlling me. This hurt, Annies betrayal was bad enough, but these two? They were my big brothers, even if they were younger than me. All those chats me and Bertholdt had, was he faking them the entire time? Lying to me while I poured my heart out? It stung knowing that all those hours I spent with the both of them was all for nothing, it wasn't real.

And everything that happened today, when Reiner saved us, when that beast titan appeared, did they already know who it was? All those times they comforted me, laughed with me, cried with me, was fake and was just their way of deceiving us. Years and years of friendship, gone within minutes. Well, that's not true. It was never there in the first place.

I clenched my jaw, narrowing my eyes at them. How dumb of them to piss us off.

Not even hesitating, I hooked into Reiner and another bright light went off which I assumed was Eren finally getting it together. I pressed down on the trigger and used my gas to shoot up towards Bertholdt, glaring at him before I swung down to Reiner. Eren was in his titan form and looked like he could now handle himself, so I decided to try and focus my attention on the colossal titan instead. Me and Mikasa caught each others eyes and shared the same look, we weren't letting them get away that easy, no matter what we had to do.

There were scouts attacking Bertholdt from the front, so I went from the back and side, attacking him where he was most vulnerable, especially in his blind spots. Going as fast as I can so I would stay out of his vision, I shot my hook into his arm and swung around it, flying up to his head level. Flying past his face, I watched as his eyes followed my movements and I was glad we was aware of me, so he was aware of who he was going against.

He picked up a scout with his hand and I made him my priority. Redirecting my hook into Bertholdts shoulder, I dropped down to his wrist and circled around and up his arm, digging my blades into it until I reached the top. Then, I twisted my body to prepare to slice as deep as I can and I swung my blades behind my head, shouting out while I carved into the very top of his arm. I didn't pull away until I was certain that he was no longer able to use it, it was wearing out my blades but I was too distracted to care. It worked, his arm dropped off and the scout he had picked up was set free.

Before I could even make my way to his nape, an immense amount of steam escaped from him and sent my hooks flying from his arm. The steam not only was strong, it was also extremely hot and I could feel my skin begin to burn.

"All units fall back!"

Shit.

I gave in and followed the others who were making distance. Everyone else had also been burnt and Bertholdt didn't show any sign of stopping. Surely he can't keep this up forever?

Taking a deep breath, I looked over my arms to see they were covered in burns, I was the closest to him out of everyone, so I was burnt the worst, especially due to the fact that I wasn't in my uniform.
